I'm not aware of which hotel, so I can't help you stalk him out that way, BUT, if you get in the arena as quickly as possible and RUN, no joke RUN, to the visitors side of the arena, I think its like section 110, you can go down and get autographs... From what I've read fish is one the the nicest on the lakers and will sign at away games. Dont even look at Kobe ;)

Yes, you should see the line to get autographs when a big team is in town though, you need to move your butt to get there...it is the entrance between sections 108 and 109, its the longer way, but when you go in the arena and you're back is to the ticket counter in the lobby, go to the right, there is MUCH less traffic that way and you should be able to sprint it ;)

At the Nascar game there were tons of ppl wanting Steve Nash's autograph and he signed *1* so don't be upset if you just "see him up close" and don't actually get the autograph. Most players don't care much about their "away" fans, but like i said Fisher is a bit better than most.

Bets of luck, and post on here about your experience.

They stay out at the Ballantyne Resort; I work near there and have on more then one occasion seen other teams’ players walking across the intersection of Johnston and Ballantyne commons parkway, heading towards the resort or towards the Ballantyne Village plaza diagonal from it. A friend of mine CLAMIS that Mike Bibby and some of his team mates actually knocked on his window while he was stopped at that light and asked if there were any good clubs near there…. I don’t know if I believe him, even if he is making up the part of talking to them he probably did see them at that intersection.

playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

LOL, just for fun here is a review on the Brookwood Inn

What an awful place to stay. This place has roachs, dirty carpets that turns your white socks black. Desk clerk was the rudest clerk I have ever experenced, when house keeping cleaned the room they took my remote and when I asked for another remote I waited 2 days when I went down to ask for a remote I was told by the clerk that he was sorry that I had to suffer so bad not having a remote in a very nasty way, I asked to talk to the manager he said he wasn't going to bother the manger over a remote. I can by NO means reccommend this place. Stay far away. Crack head bums asking for money. What a terrible experence.

I don't know if all teams stay at the same hotel when they come here, but I know the Hawks stay at the Westin.

My advice is to track down a Lakers media guide for this season and see where they stay in Charlotte. Most teams have this information in the "media" section of their media guides. If not, let me know and I can find out for you.

o yeah and if you get there in enough time they will be coming out of the arena and you will see a team charter bus outside and lots of people will be out there.
