So, I took my wife out to dinner and then to the Pacers game that I bought tickets in section 103, row D, to watch. That was painful game to attend…

I was getting really really annoyed at watching our point guards drive the lane into a pair of 6-10+ defenders and getting their shots blocked back with authority, our three-paler taking steps over the three line towards the basket before releasing and having to shoot over a defender and being off, the number of shots taken from the deep wings, and I don’t even want to remember the pair of AIRBALLS!

I don’t like watching games where every shot looks forced and the players aren’t working as a team. So I pray they have a boot camp on shot selection, the pick and roll, and inside out passing before the Wizards game on Wednesday.

A quick check of the ESPN shot chart shows over 20 shots missed from out side the paint, but still inside the three, yet only 5 made in that same window. It is just a bad option to take.

What tics me off is Felton 3/13, Bell 3/9, DJ 0/5, and Radman 3/11, those 4 guys a total of 9/38 and Gerald was only 1/4, onnly 4 shots? In our own house no doubt. Ive read they were tired , they are injured, ok if thats the case thats Larry's fault for playing them....

Diop was 3/6, Mek was 3/5, Diaw was 7/11, Howard 4/6, Martin was 4/8, and May was 3/3... combined 24/39 ....

This tells me when we all saw the guys struggling we should have used the bench alot more and rested the others a lot more. Neither of our points could shoot the ball last night very well but something drastic should have been tried....

Shot charts for Vlad and Felton, (Feltons 3 were all made down under the basket) not to pick on either of them specifically because you know im a total Vlady-Fan-Boy, but at this point in the season you don’t want Sean Mays shot chart to look better then yours.

Speaking of Sean May, the loudest the crowd got Saturday night was when he got on the floor and made a shot… there is still a lot of love for him in that arena.

Did you guys notice this comment from the recap?

Shooting guard Raja Bell might have described the dysfunction best, saying the Bobcats kept passing the ball to each other with no real plan of action. “Asking everyone to go one-on-one,'' Bell said. “You can't do that unless you're Kobe'' Bryant.

Felton Bell and DJ all got torched by jared jack and tj ford. I want to see sean may get thrown into the rotation. In his last two games of garbage minutes he has looked good and this last game he finally made some post moves. He is looking a lot slimmer and i think he gives us more than Radman, Diop, or Howard at this point. He did look like his knee tightened up a bit last game but he seemed to play through it and get loose. As long as the knee is not an issue it's time for him to get some burn.

We'll see May get 30 minutes a game...when NBA.com affixes the "o" next to our name. Until then I would rather see him play 10 min than 2-3 garbage minutes.

Both teams were playing back to backs so that was even...it just looked (to me) like one team (the Pacers) came to play and I'm not sure what our plan was...but as long as we have to go against 2 6'10"+ guys night after night it is going to catch up eventually....

Whatever anyone thinks of Murphy and Foster at least they play well/complement one another...until we can pair a real big man with Mek that has at least a mid-range game and is a good offensive rebounder this is going to happen...also not sure why we did not go to the bench sooner...just an all around poor performance when we needed a good one...luckily we did not lose ground to the Bulls but I hope we come back strong against the Wizards...

The foul shooting has to get better and consistent...the turn overs have to get cut down (a lot)...little things killed us and the game went down hill...

The Pacers had played 3 games in 8 days where we had played 5. We've also relied on our starters heavily thru that stretch (Crash averaged almost 42 minutes per game) AND most all of the starter are either banged up or sick.

Not quite "even".

I was wondering why in those two raptor games why our starters got so many minutes. They should have been riding the bench all game to rest their legs. Lets get some court time from McMay and Naza.

The Raptors who, with the losses to us, Hollinger has at a zero percent chance of making the playoffs.

The shot selection I saw was pretty mediocre, but I don't see it as the guards ball-hogging.

In the first quarter, we kept going inside, with the guards making nice interior passes. However, they either weren't finished or the player was fouled. Also, we kept passing the ball a LOT, with players opting not to take open shots. If anything, in the first half our problem was NOT shooting when we could have.

The second half was one dismal descent into horror, as we pressed too hard to make things happen.

Ohh i dont think they were ball hogging, but i would rather see the two of them miss a three then see 6-1 felton drive into the middle of a pair of almost 7 foot defenders and get the ball smacked back so hard it gets picked up at half court.

And i agree the 3rd quarter, every shot looked forced and nothing was working.

Here is what happened. The night before the pacers lost by one and there backcourt, Jack and Ford, were arguing with each other on the court. It looked bad. They wanted to get that taste out of their mouth real badly. I am sure we wanted it real bad two but we made the mistake of expecting to win. They pacers beat us the only way a team like that can. They came out hitting every shot. First Jared Jack got it going, we seemed content to force him into jump shots and he hit a bunch in a row. Felton missed some open jumpers in the first half that were not bad shots he just clearly wasn't geeked up to come out firing the way jack was. As we started to fall behind we started to press on offense, began overpassing at times and had a couple shot clock violations. We came out in the second half trying to press even harder and scored 2 points in the first half of the third quater. By that point the game was over. Had we weathered the storm of made shots and continued to play our game the score would have been a lot closer. It is just a sign of our fragile confidence.
