I can't believe we might still have a shot at getting into the playoffs. The Lady Cats have a better chance then we do at this point. Playoff's or not this will still been the best season in Bobcats history and next year looks just as promising baring major injury. LB will work on the roster more, Work on the guy's more, and hopefully learn to use his bench more. Can't play the starters 40 plus min's for 82 games. If we don't make the playoffs that means we keep our 1st round pick and the two 2nd rounders. If no one is worth picking, We can trade the 2nd's for somebody, anybody, that will be productive. I have more respect for LB's player choices then what the FO has done in recent yrs.
Mentally I'm already packing in the season and getting ready for next year, But i love the Bobcats. Win, lose or draw i'll always be a fan.

Yes, most certainly. The Lakers are coming, and Gerald will be out for blood. I see him getting 5 PFs, but putting up a career night if the team works with him.

Felts and Bell will have to hit better than 6/23 on that night between them. DJ will have to play more. Mek will have to be tough in the middle. Gerald will have to play all 4 quarters. Also Radman will have to hit his shots. The bench is going to have to come in and give some relief...
I just want to see Sean and Cartier get more PT...and Larry wake up from the coma he's in
Motion to put Hanners as head coach during the games once we're eliminated?

I think the Washington game might end up being the nail in the coffin. Looking at Chicago they have way more home games than we do, only two games against plus 500 teams, and they are just a hotter team right now. Also I don't have the impression that Detroit will fall out of the playoffs. Honestly I don't think we should "tank" because there is no incentive in this years draft. But I do think DJ should rest seeing as though he hasn't fully recovered. I would bring back Lexy and Singletary and give them atleast 15 minutes a game. Try out that 10 day contract guy and see if he could be an option next season for the third pointguard role. And put May in the game for extended minutes. But I wouldn't play this 7 or 8 man rotation that just burns out our guys. Next season is our coming out party. We can play plus 500 ball next year with this core.

Yeah LB thats about right.... I'd say start our guys so they can still have their stats, but give Cartier and Sean May 20-25, give Lil Sean and Dontell something like 15, give lexy some minutes on the 3, ON THE 3 DAMN IT NOT 5...and uhm, see about working Mek out to the 3 point line and Diop at least to the foul line.... Teach the guys the things they aren't doing, and consider this the beginning of training camp (call these pre-season games for next year).

Maybe I shouldnt give up so easy, But that game last night crushed my hopes of the playoffs. I don't think we can catch the Bulls. We had a chance but dropping two back to back games that should have been easy wins...Thats a back breaker, plus the Bulls keep winning. The Pistons haven't play'd that well but I doubt they will drop enough games for us to sneak in.

What kills me the most is losing to Minnesota without Jefferson, the Pacers after they dropped 6 straight, and Washington when they only had 8 players. If we had picked up two of those we would be in the playoffs, but I think 2.5 games is alot of ground to make up in the amount of games we have left. Chicago is only going up and Detroit is as hardnosed a team as it gets. They always deliver when their backs are against the wall.
