My wife and I had out first child today at CMC Hospital. Little Dominic laid on my chest tonight and we watched his first Bobcats game together off my laptop as they beat the Knicks and won on his birthday :)
So, the cats won over at least one more fan tonight. He will be at all the games next year at the cable box

Since you brought up kids (heh!), I took my boy who's 8 to his first game in Charlotte vs. the Hawks...now his b'day in 2 weeks is going to have a Bbobcats' theme.
One of my best days ever! :p

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!
Welcome to the world little man!!
The Dominator!! What do you think Robert - pass 1st PG or shoot 1st PG? Either way, lets get him on the roster asap!!
Congrats to you and your partner. Hope everything went well. I'm so happy for you guys.
I'll echo Spectre. From one dad to another - kids are amazing. They bring out the best in you.................and the worst!! But man, are they ever easy to love!!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter sings the Sprite "I'm falling away" ad when ever it comes on.
You can't beat that sort of stuff!!
Have a GREAT day................................dad!!
P.S: Did you always know you were having a boy? If so, how long ago did you decide on "Dominic" as a name (cool name BTW)? Did you and your wife butt heads much when it came to names?
My wife and I did a LOT on our two kids!!

Thanks we got a kick out of the Dominator nickname too. He is a tough little guy i think he will be a good PF :)
We both went thru a lot of names but we both liked Dominic from the start, we actually had a fairly easy time with it. We knew he was going to be a boy for many months now
THANKS EVERYONE, it was so cool tonight when he just laid on my stomach and watched the game. I explained each play to him LOL, I'll be at the lakers game Tuesday solo but will pick him up a Bobcats Onesie from the team store and get a pic. Next season he will be a staple on the scoreboard durng Timeouts i am sure!!

Gratz on the new addition to the family.
I have 3, My son 7 , daughter 9 on april fools day, and another daughter 17 months. They love the Bobcats. My newest addition will hangout around the house in a Pink Bobcats onesie!
I agree with the others , kids are easy to love, will break your heart, make you feel bad when you tell them NO. But man, enjoy every single minute of it. There will be times they piss you off to no end. other times you realize how special it is and how great it is.
I look back at my youngest then look to my older two and think,, Where the hell did time go, my oldest daughter went from wearing baby gap onesies to now shopping at Abercrombie in what seems like a damn week.
Grats is all I can say , you will love every minute of it ( except sleepless nights, sickness, spending all that time teaching them to talk and walk their first 2-3 yrs then spending the rest of your life telling them to sit down and shut up :) )
Would life be easier at times being married with none or single? sure
But I wouldnt know what to do without them, they are so amazing, fun! I would NOT trade them for nothing, ever.
Again man, Congrats!

I'll throw in one more thing, enjoy being asked and expected to do the impossible. A few weeks ago my son got really upset with me because I was unable to build him a functioning TIME MACHINE.... They think dads can do anything :)

My wife would be pissed if i did not go she hates wasted tickets LOL. I'll leave the house at 6pm and be home by 10pm, no big deal
The ticket office gave me two more tickets for the upcoming weekend game because i could not use my tickets last night to watch them beat the Knicks. We will be having a celebration party for daddy this coming weekend at the cable box
