I think there is too little of the season left, if we had beaten BOS and MIA which we had no reason not too given how we played for 80% of both those games we would be if we won today solidly in the 8th spot. As it is we have to win out on te road.

I look at it this way - We had out playoffs these last two weeks. Something we have not had the last 4 years (games that matter is late March and april) they were fun and we lost our inseason playoff series with the league

I think next year we will be in comfortably but we need more depth at SG and we need to keep Felton in the Offseason and get Diaw more comfortable being a scoring threat as well as an excellent ball distributer

Felton was clearly the best guy we had to guard Bynum. The fouls on Felton really hurt our chances tonight and I saw some terrible calls both ways but that is nothing new in the nba.

The way we have played down the stretch we don't deserve to go to the playoffs. Even if we made it in our starters have clearly been worn down for much of the second half of the season. How else can you explain the wizards with jamison nick young and a bunch of guys you never heard of beating us.

We need to keep Fleton, I love DJ but he has a lot to learn about being a PG, he is an AWESOME scorer and we need depth at certain positions and PG is one area we need depth, so we need both of them

Look at where the lack of depth kills us at SG. We need a good SG, AI's time has passed and we have a good "team" here, we dont need him F'ing it up

I would love AI to come to CLT next yea, however there's no way I'd TRADE anything for him, If the Cats can get him at a good price, I'd say go for it, if not ,they should look at Jamal Crawford from GS.

I see us keeping most of the team intact, really we just need to gel and get a backup 2 (or AI), and maybe another center if we trade Nazzy. But thats about it, I see May leaving, Felton staying, Howard staying, Dontell and Singletary leaving, and Cartier will be playing for his job the next couple of games.

I can see DJ being traded after this game . His defence really sucked giving up 26 to a back up point guard in one quarter . Was a key reason we lost the game . He can't seem to be able to guard NBA points. Bynum used him like a red headed step child.
DJ can shoot and could have a carer behind Felton . But he don't bring enough defencive toughness two the wing to be a consistant starter.
The more i watch Ellington ,the more i think Bell would be a nice mentor to him. Ellington plays both sides of the ball very well and has a hudge upside . Two years under Bell and the kid could turn into a star. Ellington could be had with our 2nd round pick all so .
If we could land the center from UCONN with our first Ellington with our 2nd and get a nice combo guard s/f with our other 2nd rounder we would be set .
Smart drafting could take us deep into the playoffs next year. I can't wait to see what Brown comes up with.
Only players i feel safe is , Mek, Wallace , Bell, thats it.
