It is a good read, but it sounds like he is resigned to the fact that he isn't truly wanted here, but he won't give that up...

I really think LB has it out for him, because he shows the effort, and he has the drive now if not before, but LB still won't play him...

Yeah Agree Teej.

I remember when he was healthy ( i know you guys have a lot of fat jokes ) but back in Dec 2006 the man was flat playing, and everyone here was all about him staying healthy and helping this team out.

He has great hands, can post up and can play under or away from the basket.

I for one would love to not see him go elsewhere healthy and put up good numbers. I think we sign him for a 1 and done deal, if he proves that he can stay healthy and play then we re-evaluate his contract again at the end of the 09 season.

Dec14th 06 against orlando he put up 32 points ( 14 of 17 free throws made) 6 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and a steal. All you have to do is look back to Nove/Dec of 2006 and look at his stats. He was solid. One of the best FT shooters we have.

And now he is lighter than he was then, so if the knee holds up I welcome the chance to see him play healthy

Fat jokes are fun, but Sean May is actually a very good player, and can out shove anyone on the post because of his mass. He have put up some good numbers in the garbage minutes he's gotten and in shootaround he looks fantastic. I think they'll let his contract expire and then attempt to sign him low for 2-3 years, but then again if they qualify him, he is expiring at a great time to have an expiring player on your team.

I think staying healthy is the key for May...and with his history here all teams will question his ability to stay healthy...expiring or not I would not resign him...plus...he has made such a poor impression with LB I just don't see it happening (but I could be wrong) since he would occupy a roster spot that I don't think they will just want occupied...

i am only going to believe May is fully 'back' after i see him dunk in a game.
Yeah he had his little outburst of scoring v.Toronto and had 11 rebounds v. OKC and i know his basketball iq is high, but i wont fully 'believe' in him until i see him throw one down again.

As of now, the only thing Sean May is dunking is Dunkin Donuts.

It'd probably be easier for me to go somewhere and get a fresh start. But I don't want the easy way. I would like to have another opportunity to prove myself to this organization.

Gotta respect that..
