Very interesting. What I find most interesting is that the other partners wont pony up the money for him. Do you see this as a power play? Perhaps a way to force Bob Johnson to sell out to them? I'd hope so.

Um, Ohara, if they don't pay up they LOSE a percentage. So it's a power play by Bobby J maybe, not the other guys. I'd be interested to see how this all shakes out after we start next season and if we start winning, if the fans come out and how the corporate sponsors support the team. If theyre still facing these sort of numbers then, that's when I'd start to be concerned.

You're right. I did not read that last sentence. Ouch. Makes this all much more concerning to me now.

I give it another year or two before Jordan is majority owner of this team, and I hope he is...Other than the Morrison pick, Jordan hasn't done too bad...He's in a good relationship with the coaches and players and seems to be showing up to the games and caring more as of this season....I'd be perfectly happy with Jordan as majority owner...plus I think it would be for sure he'd keep the team in Charlotte...

If we were the only team losing money I'd be sorta worried, but it's brutal out there for anybody outside of the big markets (LA, NY, Chicago, etc.) I'm sure they did well, they did in attendance, but the Hornets are getting less corporate sponsorship than us down in NO for crying out loud.

When the Grizzlies are moved from Memphis, and the Cats are still losing money, then I might start to worry. Otherwise, not surprised at all about the news.
