Do you believe either player will be back with the Cats next year, and if so which one would you prefer or do you believe both will return?

I believe we should re-sign both....it will not cost much at all and we can get them for the minimum...I believe Jefferson has a better chance to re-sign IMO...He's a big PG/SG and he seems to be favored over Martin lately...I like both players and I think they can get even better during an offseason and full season with Coach Brown...at the min. salary what is there to lose?

I like them both, they have talent, and the way we run the team they wouldnt play much and wouldnt be asked to do much, and they both have talent to do well when called upon. Unfortunatley, Cartier seems to have gotten in LB's doghouse, so I doubt we'll resign him. Dontell is LB's latest mancrush, and I think he'll be back.

Its along time before we get to that point but I feel everybody should be considered....

I think how everyone does in the summer will help be the deciding factor in who stays and who goes including May.

i agree, we still got enough time to figure it all out. we never know what free agents come our way, who we draft and what trades we make. so we should chill on those two until late summer.

From the way things went at the end, I think Jefferson has a good shot, but I think Martin is likely not coming back. Just a feeling, but possibly neither is back.

Its not much chance either comes back. But both will be put on the back burner.
With a first round pick and two second round picks makes things a lot tougher for those guys. That and the possability of adding a vetran free agent . Playing better than all the others in summer camp makes things harder all so .
The odds of any of the folowing players playing for us next season is about 10 percent . Not good odds.
Martin , Jefferson, Singletery, May,
If we consider our draft picks only one of thease guys make the team . I don't think any of thease guys will be back next season.
As Brown said last night . Look at all the vetran debth the Magic has, thats the place where he wants us to be.

I would also add Juwan Howard to the list. I could see him retiring and getting a job as an asst. coach. Guy has some good knowledge of the game and would be a good asst coach.

If we are down to one roster spot, after Free agency, the draft, etc. I say sign Jefferson

Juwan said he wants to play next year, then retire.

No offense to the kid, but please not Cartier. After he got signed for the season, he was a disaster. Jefferson goes out there and just plays; Cartier seems to think too much and the things that made Larry and Co. bring him up here got lost.

That said, I'd be surprised to see either of them next season.

Dontell fits that "BIGGER" pg that LB has been craving as he can be versatile off the bench. I hope we take a LONNNNG look at keeping him around. Cartier has a shot, but I'd like to see if we get Sam Young or someone in the draft to step our wing depth up.

i like dontell's game and cartier sort of fell off at the end of the season. depends on what we do, but i would like to see both of them with another shot and some more confidence

Martin , No, I was happy when he got here but things just went down hill from there. He shows good effort and is a great cheerleader from the bench. But thats about it.

Jefferson I like, put him at PG or SG just for size and defense.

Sean May, I hope that don't bring him back, We can find someone better then him in the second round of the draft.

Lil Sean, I still like him but I don't know if there's a spot for him on this team.
