Yes, multiple choice poll is the better way to go.

Ziggy thanks for all the help . This is much better.
Is there no way to limit it to three choices like Davz intended? It let me check more than 3, I didnt press vote with more than 3 though so I'm not sure if that's how it works.

I still say we hold off on this type of thread until the lottery takes place. After Tuesday we can start with the 1st pick and work our way down the draft, picking a player for each team until we get a BCP consensus draft lottery

We could finish this one with a bunch of players not drafted . I all so love the idea of having a Bobcatsplanet first round draft board . Some one could start that as soon as the loto is over . It should be fun. Swedd523 you guys should be able to get somthing nice started.

I'll gladly handle it. It'll be just like the idea you had, except in order of the picks. I want to see how close we can get to the actual draft selections

With the polls, it gives you the option of 1 choice or multiple choices, but theres no way to allow a set number of choices (other than 1).

That sucks. With the proboards site I had they let you choose how many selections a user could make. Oh well. I guess then Swedd's idea is better so you can only pick one per poll.

I see our needs as backup SG, SF & PF. I'm thinking the guys who'll be available at 12 that fit this criteria are:
SG: Henderson, Ellington
SG/SF: T. Williams
SF/PF: E. Clark
Clark supposedly has a lot of upside...would you guys say he has the best potential? I like the versatility of the two combo guys.
What does Henderson have to make up for the versatility of Williams? BBIQ maybe?
The spread is huge on Ellington in comparing DX to NBADraft.net. The former has him as a late 1st...the latter has him as our pick. I don't think that he, Hansbrough & Green will fall as far as most mocks have them; the NCAA title is going to influence some teams.
If I thought we could get Danny Green with our 40th pick I'd be tempted with Clark at 12 (or will Ajinca influence management against Clark?).
Now the draft heads can tell me just how far off I really am! :p

I'm starting to think Henderson would be a good pick up. Ellington or Green might drop to the second rd. Either would be a good pick up there. Henderson is a big athletic player, But he's not going to take over an NBA game any time soon. From what I've seen he fits what we needs at the SG spot.

I voted for Terrance Williams but I see we're working out Dejuan Blair on June 12, and then two second round shooting guards on the 19th. From past experience, it seems the Cats pick from guys they workout. If we can get Blair I'd be very, very happy. I just can't get excited about Henderson or Ellington. Great college players, but don't trust them to be great pros.

Boy, I hate for my first comment back from my Bobcats season decompression/sabbatical to be negative, but I've never seen such an underwhelming list of players to choose from. Yeesh...this could be an historically bad draft class.
Just because I like the kid since I heard about him when he was in HS, I'll go with Jrue Holliday, though he has no reason to be in the draft this year; he'll be special, I think, but not yet. Also, I'll be okay with Evans or Jennings. Obviously, I'm looking for somebody in the combo guard mold who can spell Raja and DJ and/or Raymond at any time.
I'll always love Wayne, but uh, no. Danny Green is the coolest dude you can meet, and I'd love to have him here, but no way is he 12th pick material. Still, trading down could work...
Blair reminds me too much of Mike Sweetney to be comfortable drafting him.
We'll see how workouts and such go, but for once, I don't think I'll be driven to profane outbursts on draft night because we did or didn't draft so and so...there's just no one to get that excited about for me.

Actually Sweetney was a nice player until he completely blimped out. I don't think Blair will do that. Chad Ford has a positive report on him from his workouts that made me re-think it. He's short but has a 7'-2" wingspan (!) to compensate. I like your Jrue talk too though.
I just want someone, anyone with an NBA body, and a chip on their shoulder to want to be good. No workout wonders, no projects with the 12th.
Unfortunately I agree that anyone I would want will be gone by the time we pick. The pickings are slim.
Tyreke Evans for instance would be great, but long gone by 12. Still I sure don't like Bonnell's idea of trading the pick to unload Nazr's contract. What a downer that would be. I'd take TWill or Henderson before getting that desperate.
If we didn't have Mek I'd be alright with Blair, but the two together are too freaking short. Can't have both.
