I've been looking at it lustfully and longingly daily at Amazon.com but I can't pull the trigger since it's $489.00

Actually, I'm not too cheap, my wife is. I want to go another vacation to Europe as well and she won't do that either! She's like wet blanket, man, always ruining a good time worrying about stuff like debt and bills and whatnot.

^ no game in particular, well, maybe Blizzard titles that are to be released within a year or two, SC2 & D3, as well as follow-ups in the Bioshock and Mass Effect series...

... this one's on my wish-list because I've neer been ahead of the current video entertainment market, gpu-wise, which would do away with the compromises I have to make when playing games.
