Who will the Raptors select with the #9 overall selection?
I think they go BPA here and take Hill, either Marion or Bosh will be likely gone soon so they'll be looking for a replacement. down low and he's a major value here. I know they need a guard but there's a premium for big men, and DeRozen isn't a savior.

This could go either way like someone stated they will want to play it safe by getting a possible replacement for Bosh if does leave. IMO Bosh will remain with the team and looking at their rostor the SG position is very weak besides Parker. Raps have been searching for an shooting guard ever since Vince Carter went to Jersey and they could find that guy in DeRozan,
Raps were pissed they missed the playoffs and took such a backwards step last season. They don't show improvement this year they risk losing Bosh to FA. They want to prove to him they are still a winner.
They have no one at the wings. Both Parker and Marion are as good as gone and the only back up they have is Jason Kapono!!
No way do they take someone like DeRozan who wouldn't be able to help for the next few years. I say they get someone in who will help from day #1.
Henderson.

I can't see Henderson going hear . I could even see a Budlinger or Ellington over Henderson hear . If they go wing it will be a pure shooter . But i still look to see them taking a back up point hear. The lose of TJ Ford hurt last season.

I think Henderson will go top 12 if not before.
Slam...have you read the Raps' board lately? They're about to go into meltdown mode; rumor has it that they're targeting a rebounder (and that would be Blair) and that their management thinks that a re-signed Parker and Delfino will be sufficient on the wings.

Course it could be a smokescreen, but Colangelo could have easily done that in the Bargs draft and didn't (he could easily have dropped back a spot or two and still gotten him).
I don't see Bosh hanging in Toronto anyway. I think the chance of playing with Flash in sunny Miami will be too strong.

Ok I know this is OT, but I was just going thru the rest of that thread and came across this post:
This is going to sound wrong, go ahead and sig it, but I'm intrigued by that big ass he's got. He's gonna clear a lot of space with that thing and with a low center of gravity he's not going to be a guy anyone in the league is going to get off his spot easily.
if i wasn't a mod, that would totally be my sig forever and ever and, when you die 90 years from now, i would pay for that to go on your tombstone

HA!! Too funny. I don't really check the raps board that often. That place is a mess and hard to follow.
Perfect fit for them IMO is Evans. I think he would seriously rock in TO next to Jose.

Think they would take Bosh over Beasley?

I would. Bosh would make Miami contenders right now; with Beasley will take a couple of seasons and helps set them up for the future. That's assuming of course they get him in FA and don't have to deal Beasley FOR Bosh.
Plus, aren't they trying to fit him in as a SF?
Why settle for one of 'em when you can have both!

That is a good point - switch one out with the other.

Naaaaa. James Jones is their SF. Spo played Beasley off the bench from the 4 spot - especially towards the end of the season once Jones was back.

Miami Heat may move Michael Beasley to small forward (http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/basketball/story/1032352.html)
That's what I was remembering. This is just inferring an experiment as they're trying to find the best fit. Personally I think he'll struggle at the 3 defensively (not like he's going to be a strong defender anywhere tho).
But if it did work...Flash/Beasley/Bosh would be one hell of a 1/2/3 punch offensively.

They have to take Hill here. Our mock is definitely wrong because Hill will never fall this low.

I noticed...but you have to be consistent, DeRozan wins, doesn't he?

No. Hill wins because he's a much better player with a high ceiling of their own. Hill makes Bosh expendable too so they can trade him for something before he simply walks.

But DeRozan has the most votes! This is a democratic draft!!!
