I am going with T-Rex. When you consider he is just about as tall as David Lee you really have to reevaluate how good he can be in the league. He is more experienced then most of the rookies in this class and I think his rebounding and defense will keep him on the floor.

Who's T-Rex? Hansbrough, because of his T-Rex arms???

Griffin would have been my choice had the Clippers not won the lottery.
I'd say Harden gets my vote depending on where he ends up.

Without knowing who is being drafted where it is next to impossible to try and predict who will win the RoY. One thing is for sure though, Hansborough is about as long a shot as you are going to get!

I would have to know where people are going before giving my prediction. Some teams are taking players to be centerpieces and some are taking them to fill a role. Griffin, for example, will be needed to do a lot more work than say, Rubio (if he goes to OKC).

Well i am not sure Tyler Hans will be a long shot. If he plays with the same intensity that he did in college a lot of naysayers will be shocked.

Hell Blair may be the long shot. How many times have over touted bigs came into the league to just straight suck for the first yr or two or four. Oden is a prime example. I thought Durant was the better ball player but everyone thinks because your 7ft tall your the superstar.

I am not saying Tyler Hans is going to be an all-star, just saying he is not as long a shot as people like to think.

I think its way too early to try to predict who gonna be what. Hell they could blow a knee, they could end up with a coach that wont play them much. Its endless as what may happen. I think after the draft and maybe during the summer camp before preseason then we all may have a better idea....

Hell no, look what happened to the last guy you dubbed my boy (check your sig), I actually wish for Ricky to succeed in the NBA.

Don't take this personally, I'm just messin'. :)

I'll give you 5 to one odds on Hans being the ROY...

on his own team!

Does Utah have only one pick this year or what?

5 to 1 your on!

If he had come out after his first year everybody would have been talking about him being the first freshman to lead the ACC in scoring and rebounding or whatever it was and he would have been a top 5-10 pick.

Now all everybody can talk about is how he can't jump and how his game won't translate to the NBA game. He has a lot of things going for him though. He is a polished player, he hustles gets rebounds and plays D. He also hits his free throws. I could see him being a top tier role player or even a second tier allstar.

Does he have a 20% chance to be rookie of the year.....maybe not. But if he did he would probably be worth a top 5 pick.

I just don't think he'll be able to bang with bigger guys on a nightly basis. I mean, this isn't Rudy. Heart and determination only get you so far.

He may prove me wrong, but I'm just not banking on another stiff forward becoming a great contributor. He may be an o.k. role player, but I don't see him starting under any conditions.

I dislike UNC, but I have no reason not to believe Tyler can average 16 points 8 rebs a game one day.

I gotta say, Rubio looks like a Point God. If he can play anywhere near the level he plays at in Spain, it won't even be close. And he's a really, really likeable guy, so I don't begrudge ammofan that at all. Hell, in a few years, the ghost of pistol pete is going to have a mancrush on Ricky Rubio, not the other way around. He's got a cult following in Spain like the Beatles did in the 60's, and if that follows him here, Memphis has to draft him for financial reasons. I am going to see Ricky play when he comes here, that's for sure. THe kid has behind the back passes, between opponents leg passes, and falling-down-cross-court-zipline-passes in his arsenal. He just needs to beef up a little, and he could be better than his friend Chris Paul before I get to college, and that's two years, two months from NOW. I really think he's going to be better than anyone in this class. His court vision is 10 times better than even Boris. And his mental stuff is there too. He values the team above himself, and called out the NBA for lack of team play.

Ok, I'll stop gushing now, and yes, I've got a mancrush on the dude too. But those skills are amazing/

He could be good, but we don't even know if he'll start or who the coach is.

Steph Curry. He's going to have the Green Light and will put up ridiculous offensive numbers

Waaaaaaay too early we're not even in training camp yet.Yeah Curry will have the green light alright but who doesn't on that Warriors roster when they're on the court, look at the nobody's Morrow,Kurz shooting lights out some nights.I'm a bit skeptical on how Griffin will turn out with Z-Bo,Kaman and Camby............ still have to wait on that situation. If they trade Randolph then Griffin will get that ROY award,Harden 2nd,Tyreke 3rd
