PG: Augustin
SG: Iverson
SF: Wallace
PF: Diaw
C: Okafor
With Earl Clark, Vlad Rad, Diop, Bell, blah blah blah off the bench
I think Earl Clark would fit in great here due to his scoring ability and versatility.
Also, I really want Iverson here in Charlotte. I think he also would work great here because of LB and we need a go to guy in the 4th.
On draft night I also wouldn't mind seeing us trade our two 2nd rounders to get another 1st round pick. Maybe we could pick up Terrance Williams......No i am not a Louisville fan. I just think he would work good here backing up Wallace, Bell and AI.
Trading Okafor would also be huge but I am not going to post any trade ideas becasue I dont think it will happen.
And yes, we need to let Raymond walk. Even though i do think he is greatly improving, DJ is the future of this team.

At one point, Ammo was the future of this team.

I'm just saying: I'm not ready to say a guy is the future of the team when all he's really excelled at is shooting the three and hitting fts, which isn't to say that's all he can do.

Well, I am pretty sure I am not the ONLY one that thinks DJ is going to be really good like I was the only one who thought Adam was gonna be good....I will admit that.
I just feel that DJ is going to be better than Felton is. I don't think Felton is worth the money he may want. If he signs for 5 or 6 a year.....start him. But if he wants like 8-10 a year....no way we need him.

What's to talk about? We're not letting Felton walk (Jordan alluded as much right before the deadline. We won't just give up assets), DJ isn't ready to start for a Larry Brown run team and we don't need a prima donna to disrupt our team play. In case you've forgotten...LB traded for Boris to bring more passing to the lineup.
Couldn't you just imagine AI taking DJ under his wing when he goes bar hopping?
No thanks.
BTW...what does "future" mean anyway? Why would LB concern himself so much with players who are the "future" when he's trying to win now?

I like DJ and think he has some really good upside. Hell in a year or two he could be one of the leagues top PG's. He showed a lot of improvement through the course of the year. But, I agree with others, he needs more time. The last thing I would want to see his him to become all jacked up not knowing which way he should play and not.
Felton is solid and this year we seen if he gets time in his position he is good. Sure his shot was his or miss but his passing improved, ball handling got better and he wasn't trying to be a carmelo style scorer as in years past.
A few keep saying he hasn't improved year over year but he hasn't really had a system or a coach that would allow him to do it. I think the bobcats this year will improve over last and I think we will see a lot of our younger guys be better statistically and mentally.
I just would love to see us make our moves before the All-Star break this year. I would prefer before pre-season, this way while other teams are shaking up their rosters we are getting our system down to a science and unlike last year for us we will be a better team making our push.
Now I am not saying it wasn't exciting last year after the all-star break making our run, but imagine if we would have had our guys together all year. Yessiree/
But back on topic. DJ is going to be a stud, he is fast and shoots well. But he needs to hone his passing and decision making before i would say he just become our starter and we move out Felts
