Wow, shocked when i saw this on Hoopshype.com. Now I know how much I and probably all the rest of us Bobcats Fans hate Ray Allen for what he has done to us in the last couple of years, making huge shot after spectacular bullcrap shot. But hes the type of player that I would absolutely love to have on the team I supported. What could we trade for him though? I'm not sure. I'm thinking he may be on the block because of his poor shooting performances during the playoffs and in numerous regular season games. But all of you guys know this guy is something special. I wonder if we could somehow steal him from the celtics? thoughts???
Go Bobcats!!! draft Gerald Henderson.
If he's on the block, it's only because they have economic problems. But he kept them alive in the Bulls series and was their best player this year. If he's traded, I'll be shocked. But I don't think he's a good fit here.

What's with the sudden fixation on players riding their sleighs downhill?
... Ray Allen? Really?
We have our veteran presence at the 2, and a mighty good one at that. People here baffle me at times.

Ray Allen is this teams worst enemy. He is Jordan and we are Craig Ehlo falling to the floor in disbelief.

CarolinaKat,... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. Awesome
What a good analogy. I am still laughing my ass off. How many times has Ray Allen hit a last second three to steal our win. HAHA
I agree, Ray Allen is definitely not someone I want to see on our team. And I bet neither does 99% of the fans.

I really wouldn't want him on our team, he wouldn't fit well in our system. Plus, that buzzer beater he did on us still kills me inside.

It would be nice to have him but what would we ave to give up? Mek, Felton, !st round pick? Thats the real question.

The Celtic's have to keep Allen... they know it's the only way they will beat the Cats. I bet they keep him on the bench forever like Robery Hurry till it's time for the last second game winner.
Someone ( not me ? ) will scratch on his grave stone

I actually think Allen would be a great fit on our team. If we plan on rolling with Okafor, Wallace, and Felton as our starting core, that leaves Diaw as our best shooter outside of the SG position, which indicates we need more than just a scorer at the 2 they need to also be able to knock down outside shots. And who better than Ray Allen? Plus considering our love of ball movement and his ability to move well without the ball and his great catch and shoot skills he would fit almost perfectly into our lineup. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective so he wouldn't take away shots from others and would play in the flow of our offense. Our defense would go down slightly but not enough to where we have a backcout liability, we'd still be a better team with him in our lineup.
But that all doesn't matter since we have nothing to give to bring him in without gutting a quarter of our team. Plus he'll play around 65% on a non-contending team like Charlotte. Plus you guys hate him. I'm just making a point.
