What do you think are the best and worst case scenarios for the Bobcats on June 25th? Realistic please, not the obvious like Wallace gets traded for worst player in NBA situations.

Best case: Our core is kept in tack and we add James Harden.

Worst case: Fire sale.

I'd say the best case is keeping the team together and adding a solid SG (Henderson, DeRozan, Evans) to the team at #12.

Worst case is trading up for Stephen Curry.

Worst case: Trading away DJ just to move up a few positions.
Best case: Somehow James Harden drops like a rock

Best Case: We add Harden or get Rubio and T-Will or Hendo through a Mek trade with OKC, and maybe Jamal C or MoPete for the Naz.

Worst: See Slam's, but realistically we draft Steph Curry or re-sign Sean May at the QO

Best case: Trade EO50 and both 2s to Memphis for Jaric ,#2, and #27...Draft Harden, best PG available #12, best PF available #27....

Worst: QO McMay and not be bold...

Best: We trade Vlad and our #2s for any expiring contract and two late round 1s which we use to get Hansbourgh and Lawson

Worst: any trade where we give up Gerald Wallace

Who gonna play C

We have 12.5 million invested in Nazr and Diop at the C...I think we need a return on that investment...with both sharing the 5 we'll still have the same stats at the end of the year...if we do the trade with Memphis we look like...

PG: Felton, Augustin, Jaric,#12 or 27 pick
SG: Bell, Harden, Jaric
SF: Crash, Vlad, Jaric
PF: Diaw, Vlad, #12 or 27 pick
C: Nazr, Diop

We'd be able to play Lexy in NBADL (which I think he desperately needs...as well as #12 PGor PF pick or the #27 PFor PG pick if needed)...I left off J. Howard (although I'm not opposed bringing him back for a year) since there are strong indications most teams will go with 14 players...if we made the trade...and did not renew anyone other than Felton we'd be at 14 players...but we'd also have a starter and a back-up vet at every position...

I could live with this team...I think we'd go to the playoffs for sure...it would also give another year to evaluate Ray and see if he can take the next step (and give us a third talented PG from this draft and bench depth lacking last year)...We did not draft Roy (and even I knew he was a better pick at the time than Morrison) I'd rather we do what it takes to get Harden if it can be done without hurting the team...this assumes Memphis goes for the trade...

I think EO50 would help Memphis...and we have his salary (basically) invested in Nazr and Diop...I'd like to use that money...I honestly thing we could get the same numbers (at the end of the year) from Nazr and Diop...it will just take both to produce them...

Any C's worth taking at 12?

I don't think so...BJ Mullen might be there but I think he has bust written all over him...and we already have AA who need to be developed...IMO Nazr and Diop can hold it down for one season then we evaluate that position after next season...I like Mek but this would make for a much stronger team and we'd get some cap flex back...both Nazr and Jaric will be expirings after this season (about 13 million)...I think if Nazr and Diop can't do the jub then if not through next years draft those two expirings could help us shore up the 5...

Best case scenario(s): We have a good player drop down to our pick - OR - we do some very savvy scouting for a change and draft a player that is a very good fit and turns out to be a pleasant surprise. Not a superstar per se, but just the right fit.

Worst case scenario(s): we once again fall for the college hype - OR - Sean May farts and we all die

Best case: We dont draft a bust for once.

Worst case: We move to the 3 pick to get Harden and Thabeet goes on to become Dewight Howard v2.

Any C's worth taking at 12?

The Dalembert rumor kinda solves this.....

Maybe setting up a trade for that 2 spot

Since Camby was traded for a second round pick everything is realistic.
