I thought it might be fun for each of us to draft for our Bobcats...then we can all say (LOL) I told you so when our picks are great...again LOL...here are the rules...

We draft with the #12, #40, #54...assume we have no trades so this is what we have!

The pick has to be within 4 draft slots (up or down) from any legitimate mock draft board...the Bobcats "mocking the draft" board has a good selection of 18 boards...so my picks...

#12 Terrence Williams...SG/SF

#40 Darren Collison...PG (Hoopsnet has him at 42...I can't see him there but would be a steal)! more likely: Josh Heytvelt...PF/C

#54 Dante Cunningham...SF/PF (if Collison is at #40)...if not Lester Hudson...PG

Have fun and good luck...

Maybe the rules should be changed to within two picks for the #12.

However, I will agree with whatever Big Slam chooses. Does that make me soft, spineless, less of a man? Perhaps.

No not at all...it is suppose to be fun not a name calling exercise...I went with 4 spots because (particularly in the second round) teams may avoid spending money and pick a player overseas as a future asset...and for a team that really wants to draft then value (Chalmers last draft) can be found...

Even 4 spots in the first (after the 1-3) in a draft like this one would not be all that strange...I see much of the talent from 10-40 as a "eye of the beholder" type draft...and I think even at 40 (if we keep it) we can find a solid bench player...

#12 Earl Clark/Terrance Williams (assuming DeRozan isnt there)
Then use one 2nd rounder on Jeff Adrian and the other on AJ Price.

#12- Gerald Henderson. If DeRozan is around, i'd roll the dice on him, but Henderson is a very nice pick for Charlotte.

#40- Toney Douglas or AJ Price. Douglas is a nice pick with is versatility and strength, but Price might be a better fit for the Bobcats because he's a pass first PG.

#54- Slava Kravtsov. He's a good project player that could possibly be saved for a few years. He's got nice size and he's known for his good defense and offensive rebounding skills.
