dont know if anyone has seen this already, but trade 1 looks pretty good to me. Very well thought out.

I think they'd move Love before Jefferson...but I'd probably do Mek + 12th for Jefferson. IMO Jefferson assuming he's healthy has more value than a pick swap.
Would you guys swap Mek for Love? Rumor had it they were trying to move him for the 2nd overall (assume Thabeet?)...but Love is also supposedly like McHale's son.
I love Monta, but that trade won't work financially nor do I think LB would get along with him too well.

Well, with Love tweeting that McHale is out, maybe Minny feels like dumping both father and son? Diaw and #12 for Love and #18? I'll take that. Love is just as good a passer as Diaw, and a better rebounder and will be a better scorer in the future. But Minny would be crazy to do that swap.

So Minny gets rid of a log jam at PF by moving their best player to us, just to give us a log jam at the same spot? Boris is too good with this team to be a backup.

Not Ellis, no.
Yes to Jefferson, but highly unlikely.
No to Love-Okafot swap. I'm not comfortable with Diop-Mohammed center rotation, albeit Nazr can get only better.

Meks name keeps coming up, in trades . But i don;t think the Wolves trade Jefferson and a switch of picks. But if we had a chance at all to do it id jump on it.
A trade like this kinda puts legs on a Dally trade rumored the other day. Not thet im to sure about that one. It does replace MEK with bad contracts. Brown could handle AI he should be able to handle Dally.
Felts , DJ,
Bell, T Williams
Wallace, Diaw
Jefferson, Diaw, Alexas
Dally, Diop
Two second round picks to fill the gaps
It is interesting?????????????????
Jefferson would be a good addition and his contract matches up with EO50...that said...Diaw wanted out of Phoenix because he did not want to come off the bench...so this trade would set up exactly the same scenario (just pointing that out)...
I'm not sure why the FO would want the second trade? If they have an interest in Ellis why not just pick Curry since Ellis has shown (at best) he is a liar and wants to dictate who/what position your team can draft...not clear why any team would want that but I'm not our FO...

You could start Diaw at the three and bring Wallace in as a sixth man . Talk about instant energy off the beanch. Wallace and Diaw both could play in three different positions
Both loging over 30 plus mins a game. Jefferson could play some center all so . It could really cause some match up problems.
if we could swap mek for jefferson, i would poop my pants. we would have a strong offensive frontcourt. we would have to work on 2 things at that point 1. LB would have to coach the crap of jefferson to get him to play D (his D is atrocious and combined with boris we would be very weak defensively) 2. draft or trade for a strong defensive PF to play with jefferson
dav...great idea but I personally have doubts about Diaw's ability to guard other 3s...I would not be opposed though since from an injury standpoint (Crash) it might actually help him...and it would make our second unit stronger...Crash (lucky for us) is a great dude that just wants to win so I doubt it bothers him because I'm sure he'll still get his minutes...the improvement (bech standpoint) might be enough to off set the decrese of "D" at the three...I would hope that Jefferson comes back strong from the injury but I've not heard he had any problems with his recovery...I'd do the deal but I'd do it and still keep the 12 and not swap positions...(I really want T-Will)...

I quit reading when the writer had the T'Wolves draft pick wrong (said #5, though actually have #6).

Ok, in theory if this were to happen, who would round out the rest of the team if they stay as is. We have Dontell Jefferson, Howard, May, Ajinca, Martin, & Singletary still floating out there. As well as the 2 2nd round picks

Got bored and read the whole thing...

Except the cap implications make the T'Wolves deal impossible to do until after the July moratorium.

AA Is still under contract,, Assuming Brown keeps the two second rounders picking the BPA. that leaves one player . Assuming he goes cheap and need with the last player depending on the two second round picks.
If we keep both 2s...draft T-Wll...and get a back up PF and PG with the 2s I'd resign Howard for the vets min. which I think he'd take...he could be a real asset with any young bigs...like having a player coach which works for me...

Al Jefferson is Gold. He is so valuable and I just can't see minnesota being that stupid to trade him for emeka and a 12th pick. I mean in the Bobcats shoes I would go on this trade in a heartbeat. we could start Jefferson at the 5. He is a freaking beast. If Emeka isn't too short to start at the five, then AJ isnt either.

If the Wolves arent willing to trade Jefferson for Amare Stoudimire, what makes you think they would deal him for Emeka?
As for Monta, he is obtainable, but we would have to offer up a kings ransom for him. However, he would be worth it. My only comment on acquiring him is that he is more of a Don Nelson/Mike D'Antoni player than a Larry Brown type player, which means we wont pursuing him.

Not that i want to do this trade, cuz personally id wanna see how jefferson is first after coming off of ACL surgery, BUT one reason they would do it is because Mek has a 4 yr contract an Amare can option out of his after this year...so that would be one big reason as to why they would do it for mek...plus we could move them higher up in the draft unlike the suns
but again i would still not do this trade...i got my heart set out on the deal with OKC

Sorry i just dont believe that. Contracts can easily be restructured, all the T-Wolves would have to do is say they would build the team around Amare and they could ink him to a long term deal. The ACL surgery is not a big deal, with modern day training staff, players that rehab often times come back stronger than before. And the T-Wolves have the 6th overall pick, we have #12. But if you are referring to the Wolves 2nd first round pick, then yeah i guess we could. If you are the Wolves would rather have a rookie and Emeka or Amare? I am tending to believe it would be Amare.
But i tend to believe this all a bunch of duck-tales (aka fibs) and Al Jefferson wont be going anywhere BECAUSE HE IS THEIR FRANCHISE PLAYER.

yea i was talking about their 18th pick...an i dunno im still not with u on this trade...yes big al could return fine from the surgery but we dont kno yet...an also, i guarantee amare does not want to be on the t-wolves!!...what do they have?? all id want from their team is possibly Love..but amare plays his position!...sooo i dont see amare rushing to get an extension signed with them...im sure he'd much rather wait to hit FA
I'd do the Jefferson and 18 for Emeka and the 12 in a heartbeat and figure out where everyone plays later...
I'm not so inclined to do the Ellis trade. Our #12 pick AND Raymond are worth far more to me than Ellis.
And to whomever it was that suggested Diaw and the 12 pick for Love...No way, no how! Diaw is one of the bigegst reasons for our turn around last year. I would love to see what Jefferson and Diaw could do on the court together. Love is a good player but I don't think he could have the impact of a Diaw.
Well the 'Wolves have come out and flatly said they are not trading Jefferson...so I doubt that it will happen...my as to why...well his contract (for his numbers) is not that bad (almost the same as EO50)...so I guess from their view point what would they gain trading with us...
If they traded Jefferson for Amare they have the guy for one year then he wants more money than Jefferson...and he's had injury problems also so why not just keep Jefferson?

This is not the one I saw that Kahn basically said no trade of Jefferson but this one has him talking about Jefferson and Love...
