The Suns are having to do a great deal of "myth busting"...this one about Amare to Timberwolves for Jefferson...

I can tell it is getting really close to the draft since trade myths are a dime a dozen now...

I would give up Diaw and our 1st round pick this year and next year for Amare!

Because he's an All-Star that could come in here and help improve our scoring, not to mention he's a much better PF than Borris Diaw IMO.

If we get TWill then we'll have another Quarterback guy to replace Diaw.

I would only make the trade for Diaw and ONE of our First Rounders though, not this years and next years. Amare is coming off eye surgery and wants to be traded--both of which lower his value some.

Amare + Mek > Diaw + Mek

I see Diaw as better for us than Amare, and he's had injury issues his whole career as well as attitude problems. He doesn't subscribe to LB's passing philosophy, and he and Diaw are comparable enough I wouldn't do a straight up trade of just them.

Also, we can't trade the 1st in back-to-back yrs plus we're likely losing it next yr. And if we traded the first, no TWill...

edit: Mo Williams is an All-Star too...
