Me too. I think hes a perfect fit . I Think L Brown likes Williams better two . But would be happy with either . MJ is going to make the final desision but this has to be the favorites going into the draft.

T Will.

The only thing standing in our way of getting him is New Jersey.

Longtime reader, first-time poster here. New Jersey is the obstacle, we can only hope that they take Psycho T or that some massive talent falls to them (like B. Lopez last year); otherwise T-Will is gone daddy gone.

Welcome to BCP! :cheers1:

Seeing that you're from Hendersonville, I'm surprised you don't want the Dookie :p

Larry Browns thoughts of what each brings to the table.
VIDEO interviews of both players . I've decided ill be happy with either one . Both seem to be very solid players. But each brings different things to the table . Who fits our needs the best .
Watch the videos then decide

I really want Terrence Williams but I have a feeling he's going to be gone before we pick. If I were MJ I would trade both our 2nd's and Ajinca to move up infront of the Nets because they're most likely going to pick him.

Jrue Holl---Ops. Sorry, just a reflex. Of the two, I'll stand by my decision from last week that I'm more than fine with either one. I like Williams' versatility and personality better than Henderson (I mean hell, even though I'm sure it's just politicking, the words, "I want to be a Bobcat" came out of his mouth, words which seldom are spoken by actual players), but if Williams and Jrue are gone, Henderson's a damn good consolation prize for me.

I got cauht up in it a few weeks ago.....I want T.Will, He's a much better all around pick then Henderson on every level.

I will go T-Will to for his passing although his free throw shooting really worries me

I really liked hearing that TWill has huge hands. I also was pleasantly suprised by his interview answers and seems like he will be a great team personality and locker room guy.

On the other hand I kind of feel like Hendo is more NBA ready mentally. Seems like Derek Fisher giving post game interviews. Calm, cool, collected and talented. I've been sayin it for months, that I feel like Gerald wasn't able to blossom at Duke in that system and that he would have a huge upside. so it was nice to hear that Larry Brown felt the same way about him.

at first I was dead set for Henderson... now though i gotta say i wont cry if we get Twill. i think either would be a tremendous get with the 12th pick.

I like either player, I'm leaning more towards Henderson, but I definitely will be happy with T-Will, I think both players could thrive off the bench with us and would be good for us, both can be very explosive, neither is that great of a 3 point shooter, so I don't see them taking that many 3's, and that maybe good...Both can drive and get fouls, and that's what we need, the big difference is T-Will averages around 59% in college at the line...Henderson improved a bunch last season jumping to 76%, and I think he can improve even more if he joins our "FT School"..If we can re-sign Juwan Howard & Felton I think we'll be pretty nice off the bench..

Felton, Bell, Wallace, Diaw, Okafor

DJ, Henderson/T-Will, Radman, Howard, Diop

Nets fans don't seem to happy with T Williams not working out to day.

BTW when did he hurt his ankle yesterday , My guess is in the office talking to MJ and L Brown after practice yesterday .

...we gotta hope...sounds a lot like Thabeet shoulder injury (to Memphis)...I feel good that T-Will wants to play for us and if the draft will cooperate we'll be good to go...

Ok so...

T-will twitters that he would LOVE to work for Jordan
T-will gets 2nd workout 2 days before draft with Bobcats
T-will suddenly gets invited to the Green Room
T-will mysteriously pulls out of workout today with Nets.

Its now obvious as obvious can be that IF T-will falls to 12 there is no stinking way we aren't drafting him. I'm fine with that and kind of excited because he seems so excited to play for us. but im not getting my hopes up, because New Jersey will probably still get him at 11. Henderson is hardly a bad consolation prize though right?

I'd be more than happy with either, but I'm going ILBIT on this...if LB wants T-Will, so do I. If LB wants Hendo, so do I. But I'll be pleased with either. As long as we don't pick Stephen freakin Curry.

I still think that the GSW's and the Raps could very quickly and easily piss on our parade - especially the Raps.

BRNC

I think they actually have a "love thing" for Hendo slam (although I don't know that they will pass on DeRozan if he falls to them)...but that also makes me nervous since they both could be gone before we pick...I just checked the work out last minutes again and NJ had Hansbrough back today (I thought they were)...I think they're is enough "hot seat" fear their that they almost have to take a player they know can help them this year...I really think they go with him or trade down...

Maybe. It's just that the Raps had TWill in for a workout last year and have had him in twice this year. They have a serious lack at the 2 and 3 and a need to try to entice Bosh to stick around a little longer.

Who knows. No one can really predict the draft. We just have to play with the cards we are dealt.

Williams believes he’d be a good choice for Jordan, too.

“He didn’t know my hands were that big. My hands are the same size as his,” Williams said. “I think it was a great showing. It’s three days away so hopefully I’m a Bobcat, to be honest with you.”

Someone is stealing thoughts out of my mind. I agree, Gerald is calm as seasoned veteran. He is mentally ready as anybody else. Whoever LB choose from these tow I would be happy to root for.

Either of these guys is a solid pick for our team...hopefully we get one of them...they each would bring something slightly different (from a game perspective) but I think they would both bring "I am a good teammate"...I'd be pleased with either at this point...still slightly prefer T-Will though...

Why does everyone think Henderson is such a soild player. He's plain and basic, nothing exciting, regular.

Like Williams I feel he'll be a better pro they both have games tailormade for the league. My biggest concern is Hendo having asthma & holding up for 82 games.

I'm a hater...I don't make accurate statements. :)

Let me make what i said a little more clear. Henderson is a good player. May have a bright future. But he's not the better man for this team. I haven't seen Henderson do anything that say's he'll be a NBA star. Maybe a basic role player, But not a marketable star. Ron Artest before the fight was a mini star for his defense. Bruce Bowen mini star. Henderson, Not really on that level of mini star.

I feel Hendo will be a decent rotation player but if any you guys are looking for a star in him you barking up the wrong tree.

T Williams, Clark, Johnson , all have a better chance of becoming a star.
In Henderson you get what you see a solid rotation player.

After Johnson's 2nd workout here, and Larry's good words about him, I'm shifting my wish list to look like yours there with:

1. TWill
2. Johnson
3. Clark

and then Henderson.

Obviously, if Jrue is available at 12 though, the fanboy in me needs us to pick him, but other than that, those are my top 4 in order of preference at just about 19 hours til the draft.

Ford's afternoon Mock"
#12 - T-Will
#40 - Ellington
#54 - AJ Price

And by his mock, we had a shot at Holiday at #12 and passed. Interesting to see if we would pass on him if he was really still there at #12.

Y'know, LB said about a week ago that he's all about BPA. Just the other day he revised that somewhat:

I would hope we would consider how we play and our style of play. I think that’s critical. A guy might be good for some other team but how he fits in with what we are trying to do is really valuable.
