I received one invite from the Bobcats to attend the July 11 Fantasy Camp at the Arena. The morning session is for youngin's under 18 and the afternoon is for adults.

So I called and reserved a spot for my grandson.

While talking to my ticket rep, I asked him if I could hang around and watch the event, since its 90 minutes from home and I really don't have anything else to do. He said absolutely and then laughed and offered that he'd see if he could swing it for me to try a shot at posting-up MJ.

***FEAR***

anyway, I'm trying to figure out a use for Twitter; maybe I'll sit and tweet the thing up.

My rep hasn't called me about that yet. Is that the camp Curry puts on or what..

Thanks for any info. I might want to call my rep...

Dav7z: I received a post card in the mail. It was a complete surprise to me. It appears they are offering one spot for every premium season holder. Not sure what "premium" means; but I guess I qualified :). I can honestly say this is the first time in over 2 years as a season ticket holder that the Bobcats have offered me any benefit that I actually wanted.

I don't think Dell Curry is involved. Seems to be Higgins and MJ for the most part, and other yet-to-be-named players.

They have a website for the event:

www.nba.com/bobcats/bfc.html (http://www.nba.com/bobcats/bfc.html) there's a cute video on it.

LOL Teej, I have absolutely NO pull. That's Beagle and Tattoo's territory. I don't expect my ticket rep to really pull anything off. He was just messing me up.

Well, you know I'm damn happy for you, Keetch. You know how I feel about the way those of us from the uppers got free upgrades to sit in seats exponentially more expensive than the ones we paid for, while you paid quite a bit and got..........:g:.................:g:.............. ..

I'm glad they finally did right by you and hope you have a blast! And yes, you must tweet us and fill us in on how it goes.

This was the blurb:

On Saturday, July 11 I will be hosting the inaugural Bobcats Fantasy Camp for premium Season Ticket Holders. As the summer's most unique and exclusive event, this camp will feature our players, coaches, President Fred Whitfield and Managing Member of Basketball Operations Michael Jordan who will all be on-hand to teach you the game of basketball the way Larry Brown teaches it. Using the same methods and drills our players see everyday in practice, you will learn individual skills from the pros and coaches themselves and hear from Fred, Michael and me about what it takes to be successful at the very highest levels.

Every premium account that is current qualifies for one spot in either the morning session for boys and girls ages 7 to 18 or the afternoon session for adults ages 35 and older. Space in these sessions is extremely limited and spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Your personal account manager will be reaching out to you later today to discuss the camp and answer your questions.

This is an opportunity for us to say 'thank you' for your continued support of the Charlotte Bobcats. I hope you'll join us.

Heh, if anyone wants to share with me I'm game. I go to enough games that I'd like some benefits without spending my life's savings lol

Keetch, You can't give up those seats... Someone has to give us the Natasha report each game and you have by far the best vantage point.

It would only be worth it if they have a VIP room to get a private dance from a couple of the cheerleaders
