After drafting Henderson and Brown, we still need 2 slots to fill our roster (PF and SG). The free-agent period is approaching on April 1st. I believe that Allen Iverson and Antonio McDyess will solve our problems. That would give us a balanced lineup of:

PG: Felton/DJ/Jefferson
SG: Iverson/Bell/Henderson
SF: Crash/Radmanovic/Brown
PF: Diaw/McDyess/Ajinca
C: Okafor/Diop/Nazr

3 deep at every position, and very possible even with the salary cap restrictions we face. I think Antonio McDyess will be willing to sign the minimum with us (similar to Juwan) to play under LB again. Iverson would get the remaining $ under the salary cap we would be.....I don't know the amount though. Also, that would give Derrick Brown and Gerald Henderson a year to learn the system, and allows Ajinca to spend another year in the D-League, if needed.

Higgins has said he doesn't want to approach the luxury tax threshold, so given that limitation it's unlikely we could sign both (possibly even either) of those players.

You know a lot of times the front office says a lot of things and then turns around and does the other thing, so I wont believe anything until I see it....

:yeahthat:

But i only want one of these 2, check my sig to see who it is.;)

But we would have to trade Bell, not too sure that is a good idea, especially since Henderson is a pure, unadulterated scoring guard.
