I love that neither of our draft picks is confident they can take on MJ...

its easy to talk junk when the man is in his 40's. in the 90's they would both piss their britches if he even glanced their direction on the basketball court.

Yeah, but neither of them straight up said they could beat him

What did you think of Hendo's one take recording?

haha he went to Duke... what did you expect?

I could have used a little more excitement though.

Nice vid!

I think Brown is really disappointed he fell to 40th. Not that he doesn't want to be in Charlotte, just that he fell out of the 1st round (and unguarranted).

Hope he brings it to the court.

Thanks for sharing that, good to hear all that although they don't focus much on the 'Cats, not that I'm surprised.

He read that off a piece of paper...anyone who passed 3rd grade could do that. But I still loved the interviews...The Bobcats always pick people that are well rounded basketball player/citzens. You never hear about someone getting arrested for drunk driving, getting suspended for drugs or kicking his wife out the house naked ( Iverson ). Even in the "Sam I am" days this has never been a bad character team

I don't think a one-take read qualifies him for Mensa, but that's a lot harder to do than you think.

1. Have you ever walked into a room, been handed a sheet of paper, and been told to record it within a minute and done so to perfection?

2. Lonny Baxter + JB Bickerstaff

it takes me upwards of 14 times to get just one voice mail recorded properly.

Yes....I had a speech class in college were at least twice a month we would walk into the recording room and read some stupid paragragh on tape. He would test us on the speed, missed words, misspoken words, tone, etc. I'm not saying it's easy to do but it can be taught. Think about the people you see on tv, most of those people are reading off a teleprompter. If it's live news they go one take live all day. Henderson did a good job though Duke taught will well.

OK fine we had a couple bad apples, But who really remembers those people. I still hear comic's from time to time tie the Panthers back to Ray Carruth. Now that's an extreme example but in the first 5 the Cats are very much under the crimnal radar.
