There are some rumors about it. He did deny it but we also denied talking to him. I think we are covering it up. I dont know why we would but....
I doubt he'd close on a house before he signed a deal...
but he might have one with a tenative deal.

I think after reading that article that AI is going to rip it up next year. I'm not saying he needs to do it in a Bobcats uniform but this guy still has 2 good years in him. Look at the Big Freeze, he played like a young Vet this year. Put him in the right place where he wants to be and you have the potiential of a 20ppg player. The only regret of him coming to Charlotte would be Bell. He would be the sacrificial lamb. He would have sutiors all up and down the West for him being the Kobe stopper and maybe we could net some pieces for him. Who knows what will happen but AI will be an interesting piece to the puzzle.

mrtarheel - fix the Bell issue like this and we are a contender?
trade Bell / Nazr for Boozer / Brewer. Sign AI to the cheapest possible contract. go into the season looking like this:
Ray / AI / Crash / Boozer / Okafor
DJ / Hendo / Vlad / Diaw / Diop
Singletary / Brown / Ajinca
wow i like the looks of that.

Jefferson / Brown / Ajinca

Fixed...me too
We aren't resigned Lil Sean...we are bringing back Dontell
Diaw has to start for our offense to work. Boozer isn't so great as to supplant him

well... whoever starts... its a nice situation to be in.
I personally dont think theres a chance that Boozer wouldn't start here... but it would still make for great depth if he did come off the bench. I think we are pretty close to Utah in style and I think Boozer could replicate exactly what hes able to do in Utah. Dont get me wrong Diaw brings a lot to the table with his passing ability. But Boozer is a 20/10 kinda guy... and still has a respectable 2 and half assit average. They have comparable stats but size trumps that i think.

What about after this we send Diaw to NY for Lee and Jeffries.
Ray, Dj, Dontell
AI, Hendo, Brewer
Wallace, Jeffries, Brown
Boozer, Lee, Radman
Okafor, Diop, Ajinca

And where, dear sir, is our offense generated?

AI, Dj, Wallace and Felts could all generate plenty of offense while Okafor anchors the D

Did you watch the team pre-Boris/Raja trade? AI doesn't spread the ball, so he doesn't help that. I don't think any of this works without Diaw starting and playing solid minutes.

With a Felton / Iverson back court aren't we still undersized in the SG spot. As much as I love A.I. there's no room for him. No money and no room. I'd rather keep the players we have then trade to get Boozer.

There is no chance we get Bell for Boozer. C'Mon people, he's a legit 20/10 guy with plenty of post moves, you can't trade him for a 33year old SG backup. Utah already has a younger version of Bell (Brewer) and a load of other Swingmen.

It would be nice to get both A.I. and Boozer on this team. But hey anything possible.

I dont like that.
Sean the little>>>Dontell
He didnt score all those points in college by accident, it will transition to the NBA if we give it time

I agree. I am for keeping Raja Bell in general but a deal of Bell and Nazr for Boozer and Brewer would be the deal of the century for us. But, not in a million years would Utah agree to that.
I am a big Boozer fan though and I would be all over this type of deal if there were any realistic possibility of it.
