Don't remember Smith that well, but anything is better than Kareem.

Rush was with us longer, and performed better.

He was also an a-hole. No question its Steve Smith.

He was also an a-hole. No question its Steve Smith. Absolutely! Smitty is an all-time favorite of mine; going back to his rookie year in Miami, I always just thought he was cool. He had a certain flair about him, but it wasn't arrogance, it was just a bad ass shooter/scorer (and underrated defender) having fun out there and it really shone through, as it did his entire career!

Love Smitty and hope to one day meet him, tongue-tied though I'd be. As long as he's in this contest, he's my man! (Except if he meets up with Gerald, then tough choice will be made...)

I hated that Bernie kept Steve on the bench in order to develop younger players in our first season. He was probably the best player we had that season, too bad he didnt get heavy minutes....
I miss that guy. Kareem has a notorious attitude problem, so of course steve is better.

He used to frequent a restaurant I used to run in Atlanta in the mid-late 90's. He was one of the coolest athletes to come in. He was a good guy who treated everyone with respect...Charles Oakley on the other hand...but that's another story:)

I figured from what I'd read and heard about his charitible donations and community work he was one of the good guys, but it's cool to hear a first-person account for verification!

Yeah, he was the local Atlanta sports athlete spokesman for MADD and another organization I can't remember. We hosted a couple of charity events with him and he was in on his own time as well. With the charity events, there were usually a lot of autograph type moments and I never saw him be anything but cordial and respectful to everyone. Again, one of my favorite NBA guests.
