I think the reason we have seen little to no free agent signings is that
1) we dont have the money
2) the FO might feel we already have a complete team
I think the only position we dont have locked up is PG. What i would like to see with that ordeal is eiter
A) sign Felton to a 1-2 year deal
or
B) let Felton walk and grab a veteran backup for DJ
If you look at the depth chart right now we have (including Felton)
Felton Augustin
Raja Henderson/Jefferson
Wallace Vlad/UPS
Diaw Vlad/Ajinca
Okafor Nazr/Diop
Now we could use a little more depth but just slightly, but I think this team can make the playoffs. We will be more of a "team" than some in the east, meaning we will play more together. I think we can be better than the Knicks, Nets, Sixers, Toronto, Bucks.I think we will be battling the Pistons, Wizards, Pacers and Bulls. That leaves Orlando, Boston, Cleveland, Heat, and the Hawks ahead of us.
We definitely need to trade one of our backup centers preferably to Houston (they need a center). And maybe add another player on top of that, but thats it.
