In business, if you are not moving forward and improving, then you are moving backwards. Because your competition will certainly be moving forwards.
Right now, we have lost ground to some in the East whom we were better than last year. I know with Bell and Diaw from the start of the season, and with a solid draft, we are not in as dire straights as some may think. But right now, I dont see us in the top 8 of the East. The team has to do something, or we are going to have a disappointing season.
playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

agreed. what is really hurting us is the fact that everyone else is getting better..otherwise i wouldnt bitch about our lack of FA signings
But right now, I dont see us in the top 8 of the East.
Where do you see us?
Because this starting group was among the top 5 in the East...

Our starters were better than top 5 in the East, they were tied for 6th in the entire league!

If we dont make any moves, I would expect we would end up this coming season about right where we ended this past season. Hanging around, always back 2-4 games from the 7-8 spot, but just not enough juice to get us over the hump. Frustrating as heck. Maybe some see us better, and I would love to have that feeling and I certainly respect every opinion which feels we are a Top 5 team. But right now, with the improvement so many have made in the East, even with our current starters being fairly strong, I just dont see where we have made up any real ground. I really do hope I'm wrong. But I am not feeling real confident at this stage.

I understand the frustrations but you can't blame the front office when it's clear the FA that could actually be difference makers are overlooking Charlotte.
