Does anyone think talks for Tinsley may return now that the offseason has started? I know we don't need a point guard but I would to work out a deal of Nazr for Tinsley. Salaries aren't exact but it is doable with a filler contract.

1st- why do we need another pg?

2nd- you do realize Tinsleys deal is worse than Nazrs don't you? he makes more money AND is guaranteed next year whereas with Nazr there is the possibility he opts out if he doesn't get more pt.

Much rather have Nazr than Tinsley, and I was all for a trade for him last year that would have brought us a good 2 along with him. Nazr is a big man, and big men are harder to get in the league, therefore a larger trade asset if we can get him some PT to show he's worth it for another team needing a 5...

Tinsley was paid to stay AWAY from the team. His value is as low as May's, if not lower.

A) Nazr will definitely not walk away from the money, so don't hope he will opt out.

B) We know that LB has no plans for Nazr in the future

C) Larry Brown has inquired about him previously because he likes to run multiple pointguards at the same time. He especially would come in handy because he is big and could guard a two while DJ guards opposing pointguards.

D) Yes he has been a cancer in the past but lots of players just need to grow up and find the right organization. Larry Brown has had tremedous success in the past with headache players.

Do we need him? No. But we aren't using Nazr who has asked to be traded. And Indiana isn't using him. What is to lose? And don't say lockeroom chemistry because we don't really have one.

A) Even if Nazzy's doesn't opt out his contract is still the better of the two

B) Not really, if Nazzy shows up in shape and Gana doesn't (like it's looking like will happen) and Gana doesn't improve, Nazr will get PT

C) LB inquires about everyone, and if we resign Ray, we'll have 3 pg's on the roster...why 4?

D) Not gonna deny that, that's why I'm supporting AI

What's to lose? A big man, and cash. And we do have chemistry. Raja, Ray, Gerald, Boris, DJ, now Hendo and UPS look like good guys, I have no clue what you're talking about.

I think the crime rate in Charlotte would rise 15% if we got him lol trouble seems to follow him

if you want tinsley and you dont want AI, then someone has some SERIOUS issues. I mean i could possibly see the risk in signing AI, but the reward would be much greater than the risk. in Tinsleys case, I would be afraid to even go to a game if he was on our team. murder she wrote

Yea I am definitely pro Iverson, but I think I started this thread just to have something to talk about. Can we please make a move already! I would still welcome the Tinsley trade but it most likely won't happen.

Making a move for the sake of making a move is stupid.

Just ask the Grizzlies.
