Richard Jefferson spoke candidly with the New York Post after the newspaper reported that he broke off his scheduled wedding.

Jefferson informed his fiance, Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols, of his decision via email.

I guess that's better than a text.

Good point. But, on the formality scale, texting is just about as low as it gets, right?

could've been worse: he could've sent her a hallmark e-card that was like, "i not marrying u, lolz"

I guess he was just scared shitless that he'll get mauled by his fiancee if he tells her in person. + He knew she was going to be up on that altar..so time for checking a lengthy email, whereas she could've technically texted back immediately. This gave Jeffeerson ample time to get away...smart move buddy.....

Still not very classy...
