"I saw I conquered Bologna"

In Europe, sponsorship for team names is very common, even the best and richest teams may sell the rights of putting a name of a company to their official team names to respective companies. For example, Barcelona is one of the richest clubs in the world, even they use the name of "Regal Barcelona" for sponsorship reasons.

The original name of VidiVici Bologna is Virtus Bologna, which is the club's original name. Throughout their history, they have used so many different names, under different sponsorship agreements. "VidiVici Occhiali" is an Italian company for sunglasses and optical frames, they were sponsors of the club for 3 years and they were called that way. But the company went to bankruptcy, therefore they have found a new sponsor.

The funny thing with Virtus is the following: they have two name sponsors right now. In domestic competition they are called LaFortezza Bologna, in international championships they are called Virtus BolognaFiere..... as of this particular season.

The only example of such a situation in the USA is the soccer team New York Red Bulls. So I suppose you are not very familiar with such concept.

I'm gladfor Alan Anderson to make it to Maccabi. Great team.

It would be fun to follow Gabe Muoneke too, he even had some incident in China (opposite players-losers wanted to beat him outside the arena) and travels a lot.
