Iverson meeting with the Knicks

And Hakim is offered the 1.9 biannual by the Cavs

could we just go ahead offer Iverson the mid-level and Hakim the bi-annual. Face it, we may have to make moves similar to this and ensure we are in the playoffs. The playoffs is not a given because we traded for Chandler. Bob is going to have to pony up some more money to ensure he is selling a playoff team. Now that Emeka is gone and Raja has one year left on his contract and Nazr and Vlad two years, the team is in fair shape cap-wise.

We just got to face the truth. We are not geting near the Luxery Tax and Johnson is not going to offer one dollar more than he has to.
If Felts gets any offer i wouldn't be suprized if Johnson didn't let him walk.

Is Warrick that much different than Davidson?
Just saying...LB might not want him.

if we don't make another move i just hope we make the playoffs than be called the east coast clippers. Being that we have 11 guaranteed contracts, a partial in Dontell ( i think) and Felton to deal with. We got at least two more transactions left before the season starts.

I suspect we'll only go with 14 and most likely that last spot will be taken by Juwan Howard.

:) At least more athletic and experienced than Jermareo.
Anyway, he has agreed to terms with the Bucks, another FA is gone.

I think we need to take care of the Felton situation before we start looking into Iverson. We need to sign him, trade him, or let him walk so we know what we have before we go to AI.

I agree with that...I was thinking more "type".
If he agreed to the Bucks then Sessions is gone. Unless I'm mistaken that took all but a couple million of their money til they hit the luxury tax.

So far the Bobcats Front Office is like a shopper trying to find a deal on Black Friday....but they show up to walmart at 3pm while everyone's been there since 3am and the store opened at 7...and the only thing left in the store is off-brand kool-aid and 3 copies of Warrant's Greatest Hits

Does that make Sheldon Williams our Cherry Pie?

God does indeed have a sense of humor...so of course we'll sign Shellhead.

I wouldn't be too mad at that move, honestly....not because I like him, but because the photoshop potential would be almost limitless

Can you believe the Hawks drafted him 5th overall?? LOL!
Maybe if we pick him up we could get a reverse Juwanna Man going on and his wife could suit up for the Cats, at least she's got that "scorer's mentality" we've been looking for...
Edit: btw, for those that don't know his wife is Candace Parker
At least she dunks more than Mek did...

Looks like Hakim Warrick is going to Milwaukee anyways, and he is much much better than Davidson no comparison there at all if that was the case do you think LB would have let JD just go like that

I was looking at it from the other direction: since LB let Davidson go and they seem to be similar players (skinny, not a power player but more finesse, shaky midrange...possibly a low BBIQ) maybe that's why we didn't show any interest.
I saw a line that said "2 or 3 teams" were interested in Warrick, and 3 were the Bucks, the Cavs and the Sixers.

But he signed for 1yr/ 3mil. If we can't pony up that amount for a descent pf our hopes are slim and short for any more moves this offseason unless it is a trade that we look like we are getting the worst end of the deal. ( and maybe are)

I don't know the exact amount, but we could very well not have 3 million bucks under the luxury tax...esp. with Felton's contract an unknown.
Just don't have space or assets. Maybe we'll bring Howard back, but other than that it looks like we're going to war with what with have.
