It will be released later today. post your thoughts and comments and potentially what our record could be the first 20 games or so. I'm posting this early because I won't be on again until later tonight.

Schedule is much more even than last year IMO...

BTW: Over the first 20 games I think we can go around 12-8

We're set up for a much stronger finish in March/April with 14 home games to only 11 away games

still no nationally telivised games. wow we have a lot of respect from the NBA

Worst stretch seems to be January 25th thru February 6th...6 away games ending against Portland, then LAL and coming home to play vs. NOLA.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

They do have a few NBATV games, but the bastards at FSN block those too.

We have only just one long road trip, atleast its going into the allstar break

Definitely liking the fact that 2 of the last 3 are at home, and the final two road games are against probable lottery teams.

Why should they have respect? Isn't respect earned and not given?

They could at least show us on national TV, when we play the lakers

I'm sorry, but why does the Lakers vs. Bobcats need to be on national TV? It's not like it's a finals preview. We beat them both times last year...great! Let's repeat that again except make the playoffs!

We'll finish the first 20 at better than 50% looking at the board, but the NBA still sticks us with cleveland right off the bat, so we don't have any chance to get momentum going into that game (nor is there time for there to be any injuries on their squad...just sayin).

I'm looking forward to the end of the season already, looks like they bumped the pony show to after the regular season...hope they took into consideration the playoffs tho.

I thought they were going to fix that. We finish the season with 6 of our last 7 on the road.

i think that we can win at least 40 games, maybe 45

Sure you're looking at the upcoming season? It's 4 home & 4 away the last month...2 out of the last 3 at home.

Okay, those fuckers at ESPN had the Heading " 09-10" schedule, but was showing last years schedule, I hit reload and it updated.

LOL!! I bet they did that just to get at all the Bobcat fans and piss us off. Same way they will occasionally still call us the Charlotte Hornets.

Being on national tv is the only way many of us in the Carolinas will be able the watch them on tv. Oh well, there is always next season.

because we trade everyone every year so there isn't much to commit to.

If Chandler holds his own for us, then I can see 40 wins and 42 losses. Not sure if that gets us in the Playoffs, but it would be close.

50 games is a stretch with our current group, and that is if we resign Raymond, i see about 40 wins. Make another big move (ie a trade or a signing of a big name player) and we could do 50 games, but without one the 8th seed seems like a real possiblity, 6th not so much.

I'm digging the end of the schedule, if we're anywhere in contention I think we're in. And Sat, Feb. 6th should be, well, interesting.

make the playoffs. we don't have a pick anyway.

I have a schedule question. I thought teams played each team 4 times within their conference. How come we only have 3 games vs. Indiana? Maybe this happens each year with one team...but I have never noticed. Just curious.

Walt Cronkite

^That happens every year. 2 games against each team in the opposite conference, 4 against each team in your division, but the others are slightly variable. I can't remember who it was last year though. Maybe Indiana? I think it's a 2 year series thing so each team gets an even number of home games.

I think we played Chicago only three times last season (and should have won all three).

Do the math.

I still think it would be better to play 2 eastern teams twice a year than how it is now.

If we win just 5 times I'm sure we would have that pick.

Well I just don't see where that we don't have a pick anyway came from. Hopefully we won't have one, but it is not like either make play offs (good) of no play offs and no pick (bad) and because of that we should make the play offs. Yes we should but not because of our pick situation (yes I know there is an option of no pick and no play offs).

With Rashard Lewis suspended for the 1st 10 games I got excited to see that we play Orlando twice early. However, once is within Orlando's first 10 games, but the other is their 11th game. Then on further inspection, I notice that 8 or their first 10 games are against eastern conference teams, many of which are our competitors for the last few playoff spots (New Jersey, Detroit).
We really need to take advantge of their weekness in that first game and hope that Rashard rejoining the lineup in our second matchup causes them some problems getting adjusted.

According to This Article (http://www.basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=723) we hae the 2nd easiest schedule in the league behind the Cavs.

^ Notice how five of the worst teams in the league have the five hardest schedules. We got lucky...Hopefully this is our year to make the playoffs

I will be at opening night. Probably going to games vs. Warriors, Clippers and Lakers for sure too. I will be at others as well!
