Longtime lurker that finally decided to join. Looking forward to the new season already.
I wanted to ask the help of all the folks that have Charter. (And anyone else who will help) As you know, we do not get to see the games.
Please consider sending your displeasure to Anthony Pope. He is the VP for NC/SC/VA.

I just sent a very polite yet stern e-mail to him. Explained my disappointment last year and that I may have to switch services if Charter continues to screw me over. I'll be interested to see if I get a reply.
bbh2020 that's not Directv, that's congress.
I sent an email to Mr. Pope as well, we'll see what happens.

A friend of mine got this response from Charter.
Thank you for your e-mail and we will consider it for future channels additions.
Thanks again.

I just got AT&T U-Verse a couple of months ago. Anyone else in the triangle get it? I'm having trouble figuring out the right person to hassle about Bobcats games (though we get both FSCarolinas and SportSouth). For a huge company like AT&T, this should not be a problem. If anyone knows of a good contact at AT&T, let me know.

I haven't even gotten an automated standard reply letter from Mr. Pope. Not a piss off, kiss my butt, or anything reply. Maybe I have to write a more angry letter than a civil letter.

I have DTV and am lucky enough to get the games, but from what i've heard talking to people about it, carriers have to pay to carry FSN, then another royalty to the team and the NBA (to split towards the away teams) before they can carry the NBA games. Its purely a business decision on how many households they are willing to pay the fee for...but what sucks is if you live where FSN *can* be had in any way, even the league pass is blacked out...

Hell yeah, ohara!! Channelling my inner pirate I say, "No quarter given!" I remember you gave hell to some dudes a year or more ago; I say try again. And even though, I've never had trouble getting games (thankfully), this is a sore subject with me, and pisses me off that Cats fans have some much trouble getting their games. You think it would do any good if I gave this Pope fella an email to complain? I'll be glad to even though I'm TWC, not Charter.

It can't hurt!

It really will not matter. Charter is hurting for money and could care less about adding the Bobcats. They aren't going to pay the outrageous fee FSN is charging to carry the Bobcats considering the low ratings.

Hey guys, I live in Charlotte and I had Direct TV two years ago before the bobcats went to sports south. Before I couldn't see any games, so I switched to TimeWarner. Does anyone know if I switch back to Direct TV that I could see the games? Any suggestions are welcome.

Sure, you can see all the games if you switch back to DTV.

Thanks! I'm probably going to do it. I want the NFL Sunday ticket too.
