View Full Version : A nickname for Time Warner Arena

We need a nickname for Time Warner Arena, we have "The Cable Box" but that doesn't really excite me... In a prior life when the Hornets were Charlotte's team (before George Shinn bitched out and moved the franchise) there was "The Hive" as a nickname which was perfect for that franchise at that time.

Any suggestions on what this arena's nickname could be?

How about "The Den"

That's what specialists call the home of a bobcat in the woods so it only seems appropriate.

How about "The Den"

I was going to say that but it sounds too casual. We already have enough wine and cheese fans, naming our arena "The Den" just builds on that

And since it's in Queen City, we have to find a link between a Queen and a Bobcat/Cougar/Mountain Lion.

Not much in the way of quality names lend themselves to the name of the arena.

Bobcats Territory Arena or BTA. Not much I know, I'm just throwing it out there in frustration for lack of a better name.

The Hunting Grounds Arena. Just another wild idea at a name. ::)
