Sure. Except one came as a raw talent straight out of high school, the other as a groomed Coach K product.

I'm not disagreeing with the premise, because I see the similarity myself, but I'm not sure he'll be half as good.

great article but the forgot to mention the obvious thing both players were drafted by Charlotte. kobe 13th and henderson 12th kinda funny huh? i expect us to keep this guy though

Considering Henderson was drafted primarily because of his defense and athleticism and Ammo was drafted solely to score points and that Ammo didn't have much starting in front of him at the 2 where as Henderson has Raja, yeah, you probably want to never mind that pretty quick.

I'm not disagreeing with the premise, because I see the similarity myself, but I'm not sure he'll be half as good.

I question the use of a "groomed" coach K product...I don't think he was developed as much as he could have for being three years in college. He was forced to play all over the place since he had no real players around him. With LB he will have a support cast and focus on being a SG . There is plenty of upside here when you consider this and his athleticism..

lets hope he will be one of those few duke players that will make it in the nba. If he went to unc then we would no for sure he was the next kobe:biggrin:

I tkink UPS is the sleeper of the whole draft class. And could turn out much better than Hendo

Im with you on those thoughts Dav. LB saw something in Hendo he liked and I think in time they will both be valuable parts of the team...:cool:

For some reason Bo dosen't stick or even make him sound like a decent player.
I would rather try somthing like Hen -Duke.

Either way Bo just dosen't do it for me.

Next Kobe? I'll believe it when I see it rooting for him meanwhile. Man, I can't even imagine Kobe with Henderson's character as a Bobcat, encircled by such a great uhm "supporting cast". Bobcats would be legendary.
