Golden State has one of the most rabid fan bases out there.

I've never, ever met a Warriors fan. I've met one from ever other team but the Griz.

Typical Tar Heel BS. Nevermind the fact that Felton and May weren't drafted by Jordan and Wright was drafted solely to trade to Golden State for J-Rich. As for LB being the coach, yeah, don't bring in the best coach available who has an NBA championship to Charlotte b/c he was a Tar Heel and we don't want to continue that trend.
Look around the league. There are a lot of Tar Heels in front offices, on coaching staffs, or rosters. There's only so much nepotism to go around. But I guess it's fun to write it at every opportunity possible.

Really? I have been to San Francisco many times and never heard any type of buzz about the team. I'm just commenting because I don't live there but I have never really met a GS fan anywhere...
Other than the last team with Jason Richardson that made the playoffs for the first time in a long while, and the days of Run TMC, what would they have to be rabid about?

Their playing style is by far the most exciting in the NBA. Casual fans care less about a good team and more about entertainment. I certainly remember seeing a full, loud ass crowd in most of their home games I watch.
I could be wrong though....

Back in the good old Jordan days, I think the Knicks had the best fans. Those fans were mean as hell. They would boo little children, They would boo you if you missed that free shot they give someone at half time. They had the draft in NYC this year...Those fans boo'd people they didn't even know and have never heard of. Some people were even boo'ing the 2nd round picks. They even boo'd their own draft pick, Thats true hate

Yep. And Hawks fans are the worst. They jump on and off the bandwagon so much they don't need any leg workouts.

Touche.
I would think that "rabid fans" could travel 5 minutes across a bridge though.

Some of us travel to Charlotte from the triangle (as I'm guessing you know) just to see the "lowly bobcats." You'd think a bridge wouldn't be an issue.
Agreed. I'm one of those guys that makes that trip to charlotte from the Triangle on a regular basis...hell, you can see San Fran from Oakland.
