Continuing with our player predictions give me your best case, worst case and your prediction this season for Raja Bell.

My thoughts:
Best Case: Raja stays healthy for 82 games, provides physical defense on the opposing shooting guards, delivers a WWE-worthy clothesline to Kobe Bryant and trains rookie Gerald Henderson in the dark side of NBA defense. Raja makes the All-NBA defensive team.

Worst case: Age catches up with Raja and he suddenly becomes too old/slow/injury prone to guard the athletic shooting guards littered throughout the league. Through injury or ineffectiveness, he has little to no impact on the Cats this season.

My prediction: He gets traded before the All-Star break. Just a hunch that I have... There are a slew of GMs in the western conference that would give their left nut for a SG that doesn't wet himself when Kobe comes to town. Raja could be that guy.

What are your predictions

Best: Plays 80 games, averages 18 ppg and makes the All-Defensive 1st team
Worst: Gets hurt early on and misses the rest of the year, becoming untradable and worthless

My prediction: He'll miss about 10-15 games, and average about 10 ppg, and provide solid D once again.

Best: 14ppg......40% clip from 3, makes All Defensive team...... has to with LB.
Worst: Misses 15-20 games to injury, and if he does get traded i hope it's an equal return like say Anthony Randolph or Azubuike/Brandan Wright.

We are in a nice position where we don't need a lot from Raja because we have Hendo right there ready to play. Last year we had the slow start, then twice we faded after an injury. One to Gerald Wallace and one to Raja. Brown is here to step in if Gerald goes down and Hendo for Bell.

We know he is going to be a great locker room guy and a good mentor for the young guys. I would rather keep him then trade him. Every time I see a Raja interview I am thinking: Wow! we are lucky to have this guy!

Best 14ppg shut down defence . Makes all defencive team .
Worst misses 25 games due to injery. Lost a step or two.
Prodection 12 ppg , Lost a little on defence but not much. Still enough to be effective on most players.

I think Raja will have a good year but I don't know if he can stay healthy for a whole season.

Best: Continues to be the coach on the floor, specifically by continuing to make his teammates accountable for their marks on defense. His shot stays steady. The additional roster depth limits his minutes so his durability isn't challenged.

Worst: Henderson isn't ready and he quickly develops a long term injury, serious or nagging doesn't matter. We lose more games than I expect, but not enough to keep our draft pick or have a legitimate percentage of winning a top 3 lottery spot.
