animated .gif avatars?

We can put them in our signatures, but why isn't it possible to have them animated as an avatar?

My avatar is a animated gif :cool:

Maybe it has to do with how large a file it is....

I uploaded it from my hard drive, but it wasn't animated here at BCP.

Try uploading again, I increased the allowed avatar size and I think that may have been the issue

The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 39.1 KB (whichever is smaller).

It's the file-size cap that's causing the problems, not the image-size (unless zig increased both, in which case I'm at a loss). :)

Just a few minutes ago, I increased to 150x150 and 50K max, try again.
