I don't know about you guys but the week away from watching the Panthers did wonders for me as a fan. I don't know if it's because I didn't have to watch us lose or if it's because I didn't have to watch Jake throw pick after pick. We need to come out with our hair on fire and destroy the Redskins as home, if we do that we have the chance to win these next 3 games to make us 3-3.

My Prediction... Panthers - 28 Redskins - 17

Man, this is a game we MUST win. If we lose to the Skins, and fall to 0 - 4, this team will lose all confidence and the season will be lost. It will and should cost Fox and Hurney their jobs. My gosh, we dont even have a 1st round pick either. San Fran gave us their 2nd last draft, and in return they may very well get a 1st round Top 10 from us. That alone is enough to warrant a cleaning house of the front office. And they extend Jake and guarantee him $20 mil, and all the while they cannot pony up for Peppers. No wonder he is playing half-heartedly. Just a bad situation.

Yeah if we lose to the Redskins this Sunday we will have lost as many games as we lost all of last season (well the regular season).

If we lose this Sunday, Jim Zorn will keep his job because of the Panthers...how bad is that? And how bad is it that we're even considering that?

Wow. I had not even thought of it from that point. Yikes. Would not like to be Fox or Hurney if this game goes south on us.

Bill Simmons pick this week. The boo is a reference to Jake being booed louder than Simmons has ever heard before.

Redskins (+3.5) over PANTHERS
"Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Hopefully we get the win on Sunday, if not goodbye Fox and Hurney.

How sad would it be if the Panthers lose to the Redskins who got beat by the Lions? lol

We won, but no thanks to Jake. More turnovers than tds, and he can't throw to anyone but Smitty. And we barely beat the damn Redskins.

That was an ugly win, but I'll take it! No, Jake was not great, but that bootleg at the end to get the final 1st down so we could run out the clock - that was all heart. I'll give him credit for that.

That's because heart is all Jake has left. I'll never accuse him of not wanting it, but he just can't play QB in the NFL anymore.

That run by Jake at the end of the game might have been all heart but if you go back and watch it DeAngelo Hall looked like he was affraid to hit him. I mean he ran up to Jake and was like "Hey Jake can I give you a hug?" and Jake did his best immitation of Michael Vick lol. Oh well we got the win so I'm not going to hate on Jake this week but we still have a lot of problems on offense. What the hell happend to our O-line? We had one of the best offensive lines in the league last year and now we can't get a 10+ yard run but once of twice a game! Atleast we're not going to be the 0-16 Lions.

You are right BigE, regarding the O-line. That is baffling to me. They are underperforming. And you are right about Hall looking timid out there. That shocks me more than anything else in the game. How could he look so lame out there trying to tackle Jake 1 on 1 with the game on the line?

Exactly and it's not like Jake is very hard to tackle, maybe Hall was just shocked that Jake was actually running with the ball lol.
