How many games do you think the Bobcats will win this season?

My guess is they will win 42 games and finally make the playoffs!

I thought I was being too optimistic by saying we will win 42 games but oh well who cares lol.

I don't care how many we win as long as we win the championship, but I would guess 51

as the roster stands now and assuming no major injuries: 32-27 wins.

82 wins, no doubt average win of 21.7 ppg

No seriously, I'm going to say 39-43 and hopefully make the playoffs

39-43, depends on a few things but we could be a surprise team this year.

40-44...better balance to the schedule...solid draft...players together through camp and the preseason all help...

I'd say 35-39. We're better than we were last year and our schedule is more balanced, but I'm not sure if we have what it takes to put up with possibly the strongest Division in the league

That's what I'm thinking. We're better, but are a lot of other teams in the East. There won't be any cream puffs making the playoffs this year.

I feel pretty confident in our ability to win 40 games.

If everyone's healthy, I feel very confident about it. However, with all of the intangibles, I say we make a modest gain in wins. We're not creeping up on teams anymore either.

40-50 and we make it to the second round of the playoffs.

I will say ILBIT and go with 37-44 wins. 41 or better wins will have us in the playoffs...

Since LB is our coach; 35 wins. We're too fragile on the frontline. Now if Mike Dunleavy was our coach, I'b be predicting about 16 wins and a No.1 draft choice. Maybe we need a bad coach?

BigMike

Well, its an 82 game season so .500 basketball would be 41W-41L, I think we can do better then .that so i predict a 42W-40L season.

First playoffs and winning season 42 to 46 wins.
A lot deeper beanch .[ Murry, UPS, Hendo Graham Lex ]
2nd year with Brown , players know what to expect
Inproved condition in players [Nazz]
Experiance[ DJ ] has looked great in preseason
Team play Im convinced on a good night we can beat any body.

My prediction is 43-39. After watching last night though, it's hard for me to not add a few to that. I'll stick with 43 wins and our 1st playoff birth.

I am going 39 - 43. I think we just miss the Playoffs. I think we have improved , but so have many other Eastern Conf teams. I think we have our best season yet, but fall just short of the Playoffs.

43-45 wins. Everyone says the east is better and the top 4 teams certainly are, but 5-8 is going to be a crap shoot and while we're thin at the 4, a lot of the teams benches are even thinner across the board.

We won 32 with a worse frontcourt and a worse coach than Dumbleavy in the Biscuit. Not calling you or anyone else out, but I don't see how this team gets below 30 wins with any coach. I don't see how it gets below 40/misses the playoffs with LB, especially after the first two preseason games. C'mon, man!

If you think that commercial was funny you need to see his interior design show, can't remember what network it's on but it's funny.

Oops sorry did I miss the bandwagon? My bad! I'm just saying what I'm thinking, not hating. If we make the playoffs I'll be pretty excited. That will also be an indication that the positives about the team beat out the negatives, or at least worked around them. It'll make for a great season. Right now though, I'm worried about our prospects. Ce la Vie et Bball L'Orange!

Like I said, I'm not gunning for ya, I just can't wrap my head around how your thinking gets you there. But that's what BCP is for right?

I'm just saying that with less depth, and less time with LB, we almost made the playoffs. We've added basically two first round talents, a borderline starter/sixth man who isn't even the 3rd guard, a guy in Graham who LB is thinking is the next Raja or George Lynch, a much improved Lexy, and a real center. Maybe I'm just a natural optimist, but I just can't see how this team misses the playoffs.

As of right now, I'm thinking around 40. Probably 8/9 in the Eastern Conference.

Put simply the team I watched last night could beat the team we watched in the last few weeks of last year. We have depth and rotation options, we don’t have a ton of Mc-baggage holding us back, and for the first time in bobcats history more then 1 or 2 team members are playing above the rim.

-- I am excited. And I stand by my .512 prediction (42-40)

After watching LEXY tonight . He looks like hes gained at least 20 pounds in his upper body.
With 20 more pounds and one more year this kid is going to be able to compeate with any big in the league. Hes just got to listen to Brown . Hes got more up side than any rookie in the draft this year. Hes starting to make Brown look like a genius.

I'd say 40-44 wins with an 7/8 seed in the playoffs. We played 500 ball after the big trades, and we haven't lost anyone, instead gaining a very solid bench with veterans and rookies (Flip and Stevie, DB and Hendo). I see Chandler as a more aggressive player in the post as far as hustle and knowing when to finish strong, with rebounding equal to Okafor, and blocking slightly below. Plus, I think we can move the ball down the court faster since everyone outside of Gana, Nazr, and Ajinca can move quickly, and I see us winning a good number of games and finally being a playoff team. Hell we had a decent shot last year at it, why wouldn't we this year?!

I understand how you might be excited about Ajinca after last night but lets remember it's just 1 game, way too early to be saying he will be able to compete with any center in the league next year. Dwight Howard, Shaq, Bynum and many other Centers would take him to school.

Yeah Lexy can run with Crash and Ray on the break.

And BigE, once TC gets back, I think Lexy will see a lot of time at the 4, against smaller guys. I'll take a Larry Brown coached 7-footer over a 6'8 PF backup on the Wizards, what about you?

I don't know, I mean Ajinca had a good game but with these replacement ref's calling so many fouls it's only going to increase his already high # of fouls. I don't know what it is about the guy but I just don't believe he's going to be anything but an average player in the NBA. Hopefully he proves me wrong and makes me look like a dumba**.
