Lets start of with the most obvious of questions...
WTF are we doing playing at 10:30 AM on a Friday!?!?!
Now that that is out of the way;
The 2-5 Memphis Grizzlies are visiting us at Time Warner cable arena today, If you were hoping to catch a gimps of the wondrous Mr. AI, you will be disappointed. He didn't even bother to travel to Charlotte with his team for the last game of their preseason.

It's the traditional "Cool School" game where the Bobcats and season ticket holders donate their seats to local school kids. It's probably one of the best attended games of the season, though I've never been to one.

They may be waiting the broardcaster said that the building was only 35% full because of traffic with all the buses. Guess if they started without less than half the kids there it would defeat the intended purpose. These commercials are driving me crazy. When the game starts it should be commercial free at least until half time.

sweet. It's about time. I noticed earlier during the 8-0 run (or actually it would have to be a little bit after) that all the starters had an assist except TC. Larry's gotta love that.

Felton has to limit those TOs, he has 3 already. I also don't like those 4 3 pt attempts. Boris needs to cut down on the 3 attempts as well (3 in 4 shots).

Hendo looking good with limited minutes. I wish they would have started him for the last preseason game.

Raymond does need to be careful with the 3 pointers. He is shooting 42% right now. The 3 point percentage is not good. He has 4 turnovers right now. Spec, I agree with you. He has 13 points, 3 assist, 3 boards. Too many threes and turnovers, but could still have a solid game if he kills the turnovers right now.

TC plays about 8 minutes in the 3rd and didn't get a board? I think he had 3 in the first 7 +/- minutes he played. Right now they're outrebounding us by 12, 37-25.

Look at Crash's stat line:

Wow, I wasn't patient enough to sit through the commericals at first. I can hear it now. Seems like we're not doing too hot on the boards, but have made a charge here in the fourth.

This is why I don't get the plus /minus system it is BS to me how can you be 1-9 and +10 but have a better shooting night and basically same numbers across the board and be -10.

So far I think my biggest aggravation is going to be Stevie getting the PT over Hendo...esp. since Hendo looked so good in his 7 minutes and Stevie not so good in his 16.
Heh, Hendo just got a blocked shot/jump ball!

Ok, am I the only one who's heard commercicals for about the last 5 minutes? They went away at a timeout a while ago and just have went on a commerical spree. I can see the play-by-play, but would like to hear it, too.

BTW...this game shouldn't be held as an example. Only one starter (DJ) is on the court for us and the Griz are playing with all bench guys.

But we should never lose at home to Memphis. Our starters vs theirs, or our subs vs theirs. This was a very disappointing game.

I agree with you about the 2 Rookies doing better than I anticipated. Hopefully their game carries over into the regular season. We are surely going to need them.

Yeah, I'm not really stressing it either. The pre-season is always about learning. I just want to see what our team is like with Chandler playing closer to 30 minutes.
I'll also bet they were trying to show off in fornt of the kids and pushing too hard.

Unlike last year (when I was worried that we could not win a preseason game) I'm not really worried...I thought we had more talent to look at so w/l mean little to me at this point...I'm really more interested in players getting to play together (getting to know each other on the court) and having the best players on the team for the regular season...I think we did that...and IMO Hendo and UPS will continue to contribute and impress...

I hope that was sarcasm...he's already hurt, and he's already going at it with the other Grizzlies.
If he was here, he might have added 5 wins. No way he adds more than 5 there, maybe even takes away a few...

I hope we don't did AI back back up...please...would not help at all....he plays (or sits at this point) for Memphis...
