We look horrible. Scrambling around on d, turnovers, shooting and rebounding. I seen a couple of times where Felts could have hit TC with the lobb on the pick and roll and he never looked for it. Henderson's shot doesn't look that bad inside the 3pt range, Brown looks to be a rotation player. Ajinca looks lost, can't rebound Nazr looks like he won't contribute much but he did try hard at times. The Celtics had all kind of dribble penetration to the basket leaving Ray and Pierce open looks. I did see some heart and pride from TC and Crash. We have some work to do.

Starting Stevie Graham and giving him a buttload of minutes over Gerald Henderson/DJ was a huge mistake in my opinion. Right now Henderson is probably our #2 or 3 option offensively. Graham can't shoot jumpshots but still keeps of taking those 20 foot+ shots and missing. Just a terrible game last night. wow

rather than post last night with so much negative emotion, i waited til today. yes, i think we still played like absolute dogshit, but it is one game. it was at boston for their home opener and feeling pretty good after their win over cleveland. tc and diaw have not played much this preseason and they will take a minute to catch up and get the chemistry rollin'. the 2 spot was a concern and it showed last night. i think we'll see dj/felton as the starting back court or hendo making his first start. graham is a bench energy guy that is capable, but not a starter. we got beat up last night and just about every moment hurt to watch, but it is just one game. if we put together a string of those type of games, then i'd worry a lot more.

Yeah we looked absolutley horrible.....
Something has to be figured out scoring wise because I don't care what anyone says, we will not put up enough points to win games with our current squad.
And Stephen Graham is horrible....he had one okay and 1 play but overall, Hendo looked 100x better. Which is good though.....

Agreeded Henderson looked ok . A bright spot if one. We got to get in to our sets quicker. DJ has got to stop penertration. The lead was 5 when Felton wnnt down . Dribble penatration was a hudge factor hear. Boris has got to take open shots, i know he loves assist but in pro ball the shot clock goes fast.
Felton didn't shoot a lot but i saw at least three times the clock was on his back.
Getting into our sets quicker this year will be key.
DJ has to start doing somthing with the ball after going over half court instead of stoping. We don't have a all star . We got to get into our sets quicker.
What happened to running more?

Boris Diaw is a Soft Scrub! This team needs a power forward, a real power foward that can score in the post and throw some elbows. Not someone who is soft, and can't mix it up. Sean May needs to come back, lol.

Welcome to Bobcatsplanet , Boris played a passive game . But he has the abilitys to do much more . If he would just shoot a little more and mix it up . I have no idea what sealings Boris would have.

I know he had Garnet on him, but I'm curious why he wasn't posted up more. He could faciltate the offesne from there if nothing else.
And yes, that was a putrid showing. However, I don't expect that to be the norm. There will be struggles on offense for sure, but I'm thinking (hoping) last night was the most struggles we'll run across this season.
I think we'll have a clue after 10-12 games which direction the team will take...it was just tough watching our team stink up the place...but for me I'll decide after some more games (I like the "nothing to see here" thread) to actually evaluate the team...I just hope to never see this kinda crap again though...

I might be way off base hear . But i have all ways thought if Boris looked for his shot more and pass a little less the team would be more effective.
Last night we had no rythem at all after Felton went down. We will know more after 10 or 12 games but i expect we making it much worse than it really is.
Brown blamed his self for the showing . Im sure he knows we have to get into sets quicker. Work on dribble penatration . If we clean up those few things it will make a big differance.
Some one has to want the ball with the clock on thair back. Until that happens we got to stay off Feltons ass .
UPS and Henderson both showed good energy . I think i would rather see Henderson than Graham starting.

Wonder what would happen if LB tells Boris that for the next 5 games he wants him to play just like Dirk Nowitski on offense. Look for his shot whenever open (esp. 15' and in) and make the effort to be "the man".
For 5 games make him the "star". Worth the experiment? I think so.
I look at Diaw's body of work from his entrance into the league until now and I've never seen him as "the man" for any team...just my opinion I know but I think he is more trouble than he's worth...some games he shows up then disappears for 2, 3, 4 games at a time...that has always been how he functions and I (for one) have real doubts that he can change....

I agree , if Boris and Wallace had to put up 15 shots a piece ever game . And Felton had to get at least 7 assist . This team would become damn interesting. Last night ever one seemed sceard to shoot the ball.
Brown and Wallace said we played sceard . If Boris had to get of at least 15 shots . He would be looking to get open.

If you're way off base, then so am I. I'd love to see him take it to his opponent when he has the advantage. A little more selfish play from him would be welcomed by me.
