Bobcats debth chart.

We hold Yi and Lopez in check this should be a Bobcats game .
Charlotte--------- Nets
TC -------- Lopez
Diaw-------- Yi
Felton -------- Auston
Wallace -------- Lee
Bell -------- CDRoberts
---------------------------------
Graham--------- T Williams
DJ--------------------------S Williams
Henderson------------------- Boone
Nazz, ------------------- Simmons
Brown--------------------
If we can hold Lopez and Yi this should be a blow out. They have no back up at point at all. And no small foward averageing over 3 ppg. Felton should kill Auston , Wallace has no one who can match up with him.
It would be nice to see some Hendo v/s T Williams tonight.
Either way i think Bells back.

A recent Bonnell articles said he doesn't think Bell will be back for this game, based on the fact that we didn't practice yesterday.
http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_the_nba/2009/11/sounds-like-bell-wont-play-monday.html
Even so, we should be fine. With Devin Harris injured, the only legitimate problem would be Lopez, and I don't feel he's up to taking over a game at this point in his career. Our defense should smother them, and hopefully TC shakes some more rust off and doesn't foul so much.
Even more hopeful, maybe we can get some more time for Brown, Ajinca, and Henderson.
We have to win these games that are winnable, so it's ok when we lose the ones that we're supposed to lose. The Nets are definitely a team we can win against (ESPECIALLY without Harris)
EDIT: Just saw this, looks like Raja will be back in the lineup tonight :)

Its going to be a interesting game, we have to hit our shots and if Bell plays tonight I hope he does a hell of a lot better than he did in preseason. I know he will be OK on defense, he has to hit his shots...
Someone posted the quote from Raja (preseason I think) and it really applies...we have to win the games we're expected to win....if that happens we have a legitimate shot at the playoffs...good teams have to win those games and until this team does that game after game no one in the league will consider us a "good" team...this is one of those games (like the Knicks game) we have to win period...

I was going to bring this up myself, there is no question we should win this, we won't be taken seriously, nor will we make the playoffs if we lose to teams like New Jersey.

This would be a bit tougher if Harris were playing against us. But with him out, Lopez is the only real concern I have from a scoring point. We should handle this team tonight by at least +10. I dont even want to contemplate what thoughts will go through the minds of the faithful if we lose this one.
Like posted above, we have to win the games we should win, and pull a few upsets along the way, and we have a shot to make the playoffs.

No offense but when did Vs become v/s. Is the Vs channel incorrect in using Vs? Should they be the v/s channel?
I've seen v/s many times, tex.
To echo everyone, no way in hell we should lose to the Russian Mark Cuban.
If we don't see Lexy, UPS, and Gana by the third quarter I'll be disappointed.
I hope Raja isn't coming back too soon, it would suck if he re-injures his wrist and misses the enitre season.

A game we should win , I don't expect Lexy to be active tonight. Either him or Diop. One of the two will set.
Looking at line ups . Those guys might trade with us nothing big but could help both clubs
Vlad , for S Williams and Hassell
We take on two expirings , Williams can board and score some . I think L Brown could make him productive , very productive, Brown is about the only coach who i think could . They get a s/f , Better than any s/f on thair roster whitch is sad.
We save six mil off our cap next season.

if you have a regulation ball in good shape, bring it to the arena. We're having shooting practice tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. Shoot til your fingers can't pop the ball anymore. It's the 3 point shoot out from about 30 spots on the court, I'm looking at you Vlad, Ray, Raja. Also, trying to be tricky with the passes is all well and good but get the ball within the vicinity, please? I'm baffled really.

Yes, it's safe. We've had wide open looks and good shots and they've missed. And that's by guys who made them last year, and their whole careers. Inexcusable. I'm beginning to believe last year's team was better, not because of the Ok50-TC swap, but because these guys have just lost their passion.

DJ playing really well. I like that we're spreading the floor and iso'ing him.
I think Ray just needs to sit down and rest. The Knicks + Cavs games must be catching up to him.

Good quarter.
20 - 7 in total.
I would like to see game time for the rookies and Lexy now. Without Yi and Lopez the Nets are really struggling.

Lopez played a solid bit of the third quarter.
It's Yi and Harris they miss.
We want Lexy!! And UPS is inactive.

well hell it was a blowout and a comeback,, but .500 is .500 I can deal with that as long as the pieces fall in place. We still need a go to scorer and a PF. But I know LB is working on his Mid Season strategy:)

co-sign. We are 2-2, undefeated at home, but still lacking in some catogories. When Flip comes back, we will see where we stand.
Wow. LB must've tore them a new one at halftime. That was the best 2nd half turnaround I've ever seen them have. Crash gets the MVp, DJ gets the MIP, and Gana and Lexy get the DNP's.
But that still was too close for comfort. Gotta get better.

Voters only determine the starters. A snub if he's deserving would be on the coaches.

Gerald wont be a starter, Lebron and Chris Bosh have the starting forward spots on lock. The coaches select the bench, and if Gerald keeps up this pace, i suspect they will choose him.

Yeah, though, crazy weird game. I was all set to leave at halftime and not come back to a game'til after Christmas (19% FGs; I mean, 8 of 42!?!?!?!), stuck around anyway, and saw the boys put together a massive run (thank you GW, DJ, and Boris), think it was 24-0 overall, and there you go, tied for the best record after 4 games in franchise history.
Another great job on the boards, some phenomenal defense (both on and off the ball), and the usual unforced TOs and poor shooting. The good thing, if the team can keep the first two up, eventually the latter two will come around. I'm not talking miracles, but I think with a full healthy cast, and a sense of familiarity, the offense won't look so inept and pre-shot clock as it has thus far.
Gerald still amazes me after all these years...he's just a machine that never stops giving it all he's got until he's on the sidelines and/or the buzzer sounds. Really, watching him play is the worth the price of admission, and I'm thrilled he's having such a successful start to the season in terms of stats.
Great to see DJ looking more like DJ tonight, especially from the foul line!
One disappointment is the lack of Derrick. To make room for Raja, it looks like he was inexplicably the odd man out. I didn't even see him on the bench, so he may have been moved to Portland, which I guess is better than riding pine, but still, to have him inactive over say, Vlad? I really don't get it...
Still, the team got a win it pretty much needed to have considering the circumstances even though shooting 32%....just a great grind out victory, no more, no less.

A win is a win even if it was far from the teams best performance and it was against the Nets. I just can't wait till this team wins some games against much better competition. Lucky for the Bobcats their slow start was against a team that is a bottom of the barrel team.
ugly win but still a win was'nt able to watch it but good thing they won,,2-2 is not bad considering they're bad offense and games aginst the 2 eastern onference powerhouse, maybe alittle more games and the offense will get better,go 'cats 3-2 after the atlanta game,i bet on that!

Felton and DJ are both getting into our set way to slow . Holding the ball after they cross half court or making a very long pass. This is somthing Brown is doing . He knows what hes doing . But it sure looks bad now. Browns offence is all ways behind his defence any way . Clean a few more things up ,and we should look much better .
Give DJ props for knowing down shots with the clock on his back. Felton is thinking about the stiches . He would keep touching his lip looking for blood. One little distraction in this league is the differance from good and bad.
I Got upgraded to center court just five rows back . So that was nice.,
When our offence catches up we will be hard to beat.
I thought L Brown wanted to run this year . We have done any thing but run . Thoughts as to why??

Vlad has gotta go until he gets his shot back. That's all he's good for. Some of last seasons trades are looking a bit suspect now.
Vlad for Ammo and Shannon Brown? I understand getting something for Ammo, but Shannon Brown is doing well now. Instead, of paying Ammo we're now paying Vlad to be a scrub.
Diop is sitting on the bench. Oddly enough, that's the same thing Matt Carroll would have been doing.
Anyway, great defensive output by the cats! If they can get a bit more of a scoring punch they will be a tough team.
Hey Matt Carroll would be of more benefit to us than Diop, considering our offense is non-existent.
But a win is a win, although we will have to play significantly better if we are going to win any of the next 5 games.

Before I forget...did anyone see that drive DJ did (think the 4th quarter) where he went under the basket from the side, did a stutter step right underneath and then passed to I think Raja in the corner ahead where he took an uncontested 3 but missed?
That small stutter step pulled the defender off of Raja to give him that uncontested jumper.
I want to see more of that. It's one of the things that impressed me in those Texas games I saw (his intelligence and confidence in a crowd, making the right play to get his mate an easier shot) and if he could do that consistently then we'd be onto something.

Your eye for the little things is very impressive. I agree that if DJ is to become the pass first PG that he was hyped to be, then he has to work at moves like that more often. Kid has tons of talent, but is just scratching the surface right now. LB has to bring it out in him or people will always be questioning the taking of DJ over Brook Lopez.

Not exactly. After we drafted him I was lucky to catch a bunch of Texas games on TV (replay), and that was what was so impressive at the time. He was so confident moving amongst the bigs in the paint and would use those moves...stutter step, head/body fakes...and then move or pass to the left open spot. He's not done that since he's been here and that's why I've been so frustrated and disappointed in him.
Don't know if you remember but I hit on this near the end of last season. My thinking then and now is that he's being so conservative playing under Larry Brown. I think he's too worried about screwing up. He seldom makes a risky pass, but always the safe one...and that's why his assists are always so low.
I know he could do it in college and I think he can do it in the pros...and if he did we'd be hearing comparisons to CP3. He just has to start doing it.
