ps3 is better.....and there are more people. You will get better at mp. It takes a week or so but you WIL get addicted 2 this game and you will get adjusted.

Multiplayer is AMAZING. I havent tried the story mode yet, but i had to consent to playing a mission that would be offensive to people.

As far as the game, yeah it is fun, but I don't understand some of the kill rewards. Still have no clue what the hell the 4 kill perk is all about. You throw a damn ball?!??! WTF?!?! The 5 kill is okay, but it takes too much time to get the laptop out and direct the artillery, so somebody will kill you in the process...only played once so maybe it takes getting used to. Raining death from above in the gunship is priceless however....until you get shot down.

Once I get accquainted with the weapons and find some faves to use (no MP5? :(), and the maps, I have a feeling this one will trump the original. So get it, ziggy, even though I got it for the PS3, not the 360 yet.

Spec Ops missions kick ass too! Just like the FNG level and Mile High Club from the first one, but with a lot more variety.

That ball you throw is a supply drop. You can get anything from extra ammo to airstrikes.

A 25 kill streak gets you a mini nuke that ends the game.

As an aside, I love these maps....there's so many different places to hide, and for the sneaky bastard type of player I am, as opposed to the run 'n gun, I love it. Can't wait til I get the Cold blooded perk so those punks with the thermal/heartbeat monitor thingies can't close in on me.....

What are some of y'alls favorite custom classes you've made?


I rack up killstreaks by being a sneaky bastard as opposed to the run-n-gunner types (that make great cannon fodder for my sneaky ass :biggrin:) so my main stealth class is the following:

Primary: UMP45 (silenced)
Secondary: SPAS12 (silenced)
Flash bang
Throwing knife
Perks:
Marathon
Cold-blooded
Ninja

Another productive one is:

Primary: M4A1 (red dot sight)
Secondary: .44 (FMJ) still working to get tactical knife
Flash
Semtex
Perks:
Marathon
Hardline
Commando

And my sniping:

Primary: .50 cal (Thermal and FMJ)
Secondary: .44 (FMJ)
Smoke
Claymore
Perks:
Bling
Cold blooded
Ninja (No decent 3rd perk that helps the sniper is there? Recommendations?)


Anyway, those 3 are my bread and butter at the moment.

Oh and killstreak perks right now are: Predator, Pave Low and AC130.

I run with different classes for different maps. But being a Hardcore Team Death player, they're mostly geared towards stealth.

I have two AR classes:

Primary: ACR with RedDot + Silencer OR ACOG + Silencer
Secondary: AT4
Nade 1: Flash Bang
Nade 2: Grenades
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

One SMG class:

Primary: UMP45 with RedDot + Silencer(the UMP is actually THE MOST POWERFUL automatic gun in the game, more powerful than even the M16, etc.)
Secondary: AT4
Nade 1: Flash Bang
Nade 2: Grenades
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

One Sniper class:

Primary: M21 EBR with Silencer + FMJ
Secondary: PP2000 with RedDot + Silencer
Nade 1: Flash Bang
Nade 2: Grenades
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro (for the longer breath hold for sniping)

One Heavy Class:


Primary: AUG HBAR with RedDot + Silencer
Secondary: Akimbo Model 1887
Nade 1: Flash Bang
Nade 2: Grenades
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro


Killstreaks: Care Package, Predator, Emergeny Air Drop
