Mike Vick a Panther?

I have no source or new report to site. I know Vick won't be back with the Eagles again next year. So what are the chances the Panthers can pick him up? He's not a horrible QB. He can still run, still can dodge defenders in the back field. Something Delhomme clearly can't do. I could care less about what Mike Vick did to those dogs and at this point Jake is just as helpful as Vinny was...Both need to be sitting on someone couch on sundays

No way Richardson goes with anyone who has any issues with the law. He is still haunted by the Ray Carruth matter, and wont touch anyone with controversy around them like Vick.

I wasn't even thinking along those lines but you're right about that.... I was meaning in my other post, sure Vic can run the ball and throw a few passes but he isn't that good or accurate of a passer and we have that now in Jake... We need a P Manning or a Romo style QB. We've never had a great QB here and I think its time to try to get one (if available in the draft). Right now we are one dimensional and hardly no passing game at all, we need to bring that part of our offense back and a great QB would almost insure that...:cool:

We have no 1st rd pick next year so it's doubtful we can find a franchise QB as low as we might be picking next year. Depending on badly we end up sucking this year. I would love to draft a QB but I don't think the draft is going to be that deep in QB's next year.

I'm thinking Vick because we are already stuck with Jake. Jake clearly sucks, but Vick sucks just a little less.

If he wont sign a Contract estension, we have to Franchise him again, this time for $20 mil. And we could not discuss trading him to anyone until he signs the Franchise tender. He did not sign it last year until after the draft, so we were screwed and made that stupid trade with San Fran, our 2010 1st for their 2009 2nd. Him signing the tender and also the amount of the Tag being $20 mil may be cost prohibitive with regards to any Trade talk.

Listening to the guys on Sirius NFL Radio, everyone seems to think of Tebow as a 3rd round pick and likely to play the H-Back position and occasionally a Wildcat since he can throw as well as run, But his mechanics and slow release and the fact that he is always in the shotgun and never under center is what makes everyone think he is not an NFL QB. Terrific College QB and a great person, but not likely NFL QB material. But hey, the experts have been wrong before.

That reminds me of Charlie Ward from FSU, Great college QB but no one thought he was NFL ready. So he went nd play'd basketball.
