Remember last season when Will Friggin Bynum lit us up for 26 4th quarter points?
For those that don't, just cozy on up to this video and partake in the atrocity.

Now tonight we aren't going to have to deal with any ridiculous garbage like that, Right? We're going to waltz into the Pistons arena Raja & DJ are going to knock down their shots, Boris is going to rebound, LB is going to give the rookies some minutes and Ray isn't going to turn the ball over... And most importantly we're going to walk out of the door with a win and sitting at .500.
Go Bobcats!

This should be a Bobcat win with effort. Rip and Prince both out can't help them none.
Felton .,Stuckey , Felton should win that battle
Bell,,,, Gordon .. If Bell can hold him under 20 we stand a good chance
Wallace,,,,Jerebko Biggest mismatch on the floor
Diaw ,, Villanueva, Instresting match up hear . I think Diaw defends a little better?
TC ,,,, B Wallace, If Chandler can't win this match up . He needs to be beanched
DJ , Bynum, Lets all hope DJ don't get abused by him again.
This team has no debth except Bynum. If we play decent it should be a Bobcat win.
Thoughts on thease match ups and predictions.
Bobcats 103, Pistons 92,
Pistons has no real defenders ready to play...

I will feel much better about the team if they can pull off this victory. Tonight they have to man up and show some heart, fight and desire. Just get mad and go out there and bust someone's ass!

Pistons have the 13th ranked defense and the 19th ranked offense thus far.
I think it's going to be difficult...a lot like the Chicago game only instead of Noah abusing TC we'll probably have a Bass Part II situation with CV vs. Boris. Hopefully Boris will get up on the guy this game.
Raja will have to bring his A game defensively against Gordon and LB is going to have to watch the matchups (if Bynum is burning DJ change it up before it costs us 10-12 points).

Detroit's last game was Sunday at home where they beat the Sixers 88 to 81 with both Rip & Prince out. Three days rest vs. us being on the ass end of a back to back.
Time to gut it out. No getting down early and the bench needs to help out.

You guys are only disappointed because you have expectations. I learned seasons ago not to do that. It's not so bad, Detroit is a pretty good club playing at home on 3 days rest and we are in a back to back.
Tough matchup for us. We'll catch someone snoozing soon enough.

Yeah, it's hard not to think like that after this. They are just listless...and it's game #8 this season. I think it mainly has to do with the 'Cats having to go 100% at all times just to do what they do while most teams can do what the 'Cats do at 70-80%.
I'm usually pretty positive about everything, but I can't find much here. A trade HAS to be coming, and quick. They can't struggle to score like this the rest of the year.

Crash

maybe we lose by 33 instead of 23 but we get to see what we have in these young guys. I include Nazr cause sadly he is our best center right now and Jinx would have 2 fouls by the 9 min mark of the 1st qtr. I just don't want to see Vlad, Flip, or Diop if were rebuilding

Way to stick with that piece of shit starting unit the near entirety of the third quarter, Larry! God forbid, you make any personnel changes during a 12 point quarter with matador defense....If players are held accountable and called to task, goddamm it if the coach shouldn't be as well, and I think the old man is really putting up a shitty effort so far this season. Anyway, that's another subject.....
The only players I saw challenging shots tonight was Derrick and Henderson. On the other end, Nazr was the only competent thing working out there with no one close to a distant second. I could make peace with the Celtics loss; this one, however, was very fucking disturbing and makes me realize how little this franchise has progressed in 6 years, no matter how much we've been led to believe and delude ourselves into thinking otherwise. Fuck it, the year one squad took out the defending champ Pistons twice in '04-'05!!! Spinning wheels since '04...your Charlotte Bobcats.

You know, I was watching that third quarter and was thinking the same thing, then it dawned on me that Larry was probably making a point... if the starters wanted to continue to be selfish and careless with the ball and not hustle, then he would let them keep playing their way and continue to get blown out.
At that point, the game was out of hand, and I think he wanted them to feel the frustration and helplessness, and in order to not feel that way again, then play Larry Brown's way.

This may be the case, but Larry's mentor, Coach Smith would handle things differently, and IMO better by benching their asses for the rest of the game and giving minutes to guys who give effort. What sort of message is it to give MORE minutes to guys who give LESS effort? If I'm sitting on the bench, what I'd infer from that would be, "Okay, I play like shit, I get more burn? Got it." Like I said, my faith in Larry is waning by the day....

No, it was a one time thing. You know better, Beagle. You've seen him take guys out for doing stupid ass shit. This was what is called a "come to Jesus" moment. As in these guys are figuring out the only way to salvage their reputations, contracts, or careers is to totally and 110% buy in to what he's saying, and he wanted them to experience what happens when they ignore him. My middle school football coach did it and it worked to perfection. We ignored him to start off with because we'd won 4 straight conference titles and were a bunch of arrogant pricks, we started 0-2, then lost 55-14 to our rivals, he left the starters in all game to taste the loss, after that we went 5-0.
It works, Beagle. Trust me.
