Well here we go again...

Do we finally play the right way or do we blow another game at home:confused:

Leaving for the game. Hope to see our A game tonight. Don't want us to stink up the cable box again tonight. This is a game we need for confidence . A win keeps us close to playing 500 ball.

Unreal that Fox even blocks out NBA TV.

Keeping my eye on Boris vs. LMA. His guy has burnt us for the lasat 2 games and his job is even tougher tonight.

^Enjoy getting drunk.

I'd love nothing more than a win tonight. But Raja has to bring his A game. Boris too.

Not with Crash and Ray driving all the time. And Nazzy and TC being bad down low.

Actually we're having the advantage early with them going small.

TC on the bench with 2 early...grrrr.

Oden with 2 as well.

Says a lot when Gana is in a suit when we're playing Portland.

Bet Crash's eyes got HUGE when he saw that lane to the basket! By forcing them to go small right now Crash should do that every chance he gets.

DJ came in around the 4 and change mark.

Tied after 1. I don't think we're looking as bad as usual. Crash with the only TOs.

Edit...no TC has one. 3 for one quarter is stellar for us tho.

Felton/Diaw are playing decently!!

Am i the only one concerned that we only have 1 center out of 4 that can play offense, and that is Nazr? I am a Nazr fan and have defended him in the past, but still, we need more/better than him. Diop, Chandler, and Ajinca need to step things up

Just like Mek was never a PF despite his size, Jinx will never be a center. He might be a good player in the league, but it will be as a big PF. Anyway, yea... Chandler needs to bring it and Gana needs to do something... anything...

I think everyone is playing pretty decently. TC's 2 early ones are disappointing, but other than that every one is hustling, defending their own and they're moving the ball pretty well.

And Nazr is doing great!

I see what your saying. But the way you develop a player is what really matters. Bernie had to make Emeka a post player, didnt try and enhance his midrange game, because Primo the Pillow was our center. If we had a real banger (not Jahadi White) to play next to emeka things might be different. If we train Ajinca, maybe he will be a center. But i get your point, he isnt one now. But he isnt even a NBA ready rotation player now...

Seriously? We HAVE TO GET A 3, the Blazers know there is no way we can even go for a quick 2, we had no time, and we roll with a line-up of Felton, Bell, Diaw, Wallace, Chandler?

So what ends up happening? We have Gerald Wallace taking our must-make 3. Brilliant.

Portland's a tough team. There's no shame in losing to them, but we're going to have to steal a lot of games from similar teams if playoffs are a serious consideration. Even though it's over 24 hours since the game, I'll comment a tiny bit. I agree that Portland in the larger scheme of things is a tough team. However, last night they were a very tired, average, beatable team that gave opportunity after opportunity to let the Bobcats win. I took a friend of mine who likes basketball, but hasn't really been familiar with players and such in 5 or more years, and he said it looked like both teams played the night before, and I laughed telling him Portland played way down in NO, while the Cats were coming off 3 days rest; his only answer, "Gotta love those Bobcats."

Really, only Brandon Roy played like he had an ounce of energy, with Miller doing a good job as well...the rest were pretty sorry; I mean I don't think I've ever seen Aldridge play so pedestrian. Still, except for the Boris' solo run in the 3rd, there was nothing, nothing going on for the Cats. Just a fucking boring couple of hours where it was more entertaining watching the "Kiss Cam" and, as usual, the LadyCats, than the product I actually paid to see on the court. So yeah, this was as beatable of a Portland team as anyone is likely to see all season, and the Cats matched the fatigued, lethargic play of the Blazers with an inexplicably lethargy all their own......so no moral victories here, folks.

PS. Good job at halftime, dav! Me and my friend gave a nice round of applause from 215! Hey, applause was a rare thing last night, so thanks for giving me something to clap for! ;)
