55 points after going scoreless in the 1st quarter
29 points in the third, and one of the top rookie scoring performances EVER!

I saw him perform...really impressive. Takes alot of confidence and assertiveness as a Rookie to take over a game. He will probably be something big...real big.

I think he has wrapped up rookie of the year.
Ziggy...this was the reason to get a real "big"...(Lopez or Thompson) and a back-up PG (Hill or Chalmers) in the draft before last...because anyone that knows anything about BB knew that this last draft was filled with PGs...kinda makes me ill thinking about it...

And all that hype about Rubio would be better than Jennings and i don't see all this cockiness swagger in him the media has labelled him as............not yet anyways maybe because he hails from Compton.

I have to admit, I was one of the doubters. He did not play that much in Europe, so I did not think he had what it took. Man, is he proving me and many others wrong. He is lighting it up big time. Congratulations to him.
By the way, if I recall correctly, I think most of us here at BCP were doubting him. Was there anyone who was really stating they thought he had superstar status in him?

I was a doubter too. I was wrong. Doesn't happen too often, but it happens! :)

add me to the group of doubters. I had no idea that he was going to have a rookie year like this.

I certainly had no idea. I was much more interested in his story than his skill set, though his skills are certainly a big part of the story.
I just don't see how the NBA can continue to justify forcing guys to wait before they join the league. If Jennings is ROY, I wouldn't be surprised if half of the '11 freshmen class skip college to go to Europe. The only reason why I don't think next year's class will is that many of them already have their minds set on going to a specific college next year.

with last years class being loaded with pt guards felton is looking less and less like a guy we want to break the bank for.

I said he'd be good, but not THIS good. Damn.
But if you ever see him play, you'll understand. He's soooooo much better in person.
Oh and uh, he and TC went to the same HS. Though BJ transferred to Ok Hill.

No lie i was confident that he would be a borderline All Star if not All Star in the near future.I was disputing my opininons on ESPN everytime they wrote an article on Rubio and how Jennings was crap in Euro League and how Rubio would be 10x better than Jennings.I've seen Jennings play in high school and what i saw made me believe he could undoubtedly be a future star in the NBA.I also think Beaubois could develop into something special and i knew Aaron Brooks would eventually crack the starting lineup and be their pg of the future in Houston when i saw him in his 1st Summer League stint....................just saying.

Same. ESPN obviously didn't...
