lol... no. He'd lose his bird rights, meaning he'd be giving up a possible extra year and larger annual pay increases. If he wanted to give up his bird rights it would be because he knew we wouldn't be willing to give him a 6 year deal or work a sign and trade with another team.

To automatically drop this benefit by the trade deadline I can't imagine that he'd be going to a contender. A contender would only be considering him if there was a big hole due to injury (ie., the team thought he was good enough to trade for and give the reins of their title hope wagon to him he'd have to be playing well... in which case he'd want to hang on to the option of being signed to an extra year for more money). If Felton agrees to a trade and waives his bird rights he's going to a team that is bad and has no pg and he will be getting enough minutes to showcase his skills.... but he's already in that situation, so I don't see why he would.

I'm going to take a second to hate on Diaw since no one ever makes a thread about how much he sucks. Diaw at 6'8 230 or how ever heavy he is, Sucks on the defensive end. That finesse game looks nice on the offensive end but on defense He's just hurting them team. He doesn't box out, He doesn't rebound, He doesn't fight for loose balls. With Tyson shitting a goose egg on talent, That forces Wallace to try and get single single rebound and loose ball. Thats going to cause a usual Crash injury. He can't blame this on a sprained ankle, Diaw sucks as a PF, He a extra large SF.

Second that man. LB thinks that players can get out of slumps on the bench apparently. Because unless DJ plays more he wont get out of it. Last night the NBA analysts were talking about Gilbert Arenas shooting his way out of a slump. DJ was at least more aggressive last night so maybe the end of his slump will be soon. Hopefully.

I didn't know know you had written pretty much the same thing I had in my post in the other thread. Obviously it's highly unlikely that he'd give them up but it is still a possibility is the only point I was trying to get across.
