Lets sign AI, and try this lineup.

AI, Jax, Wallace, Diaw, Nazr.

Bring Ray in as the backup 1 (maybe he'll step up if he feels he is going to get stepped over especially in a contract year).

We can bring in Flip or Hendo as the 2 backup depending on how they are doing.

Brown is our only real backup 3, but in some lineups we can move Jax to the 3 so Wallace can stop playing 45+ min/game, I think he just might be getting sick of it.

Sadly we have NO-ONE at backup 4, we can play GW there unfortunately but I think we need to start getting lexy 5000 calories a day and 4 hours a day in the weight room so he can play 10-15 min/game

I'd probably have chandler back up Nazr until he can prove ready to start. I would also like to give Diop at least a FEW minutes per game.

I honestly think we have to make a back court move, so maybe we can move Acie or Ray (with his permission) and maybe move flip as much as i like his scoring. I just dont know, we need to do something.

Well, if AI is your starting PG, and Ray is off the bench, you did not mention DJ. Does he ride the pine, or are you going to package him for something?

Your idea is not really a hail mary. alot of us are feeling that idea. this is my break down of what should be done.

sign AI for the obvious reasons, scoring, tickets sales, (this should make Bobby J happy) chance at redemption

Capt Jack and AI both need a chance at redemption. We are a team who lost our direction, so we create a new one. We say play the right way, we we show AI and Capt Jax can play the right way. We really can lose, we are losing now. I believed we are a better team than the Bucks. But we the ship in sinking. We are not players in 10 and 11 summer or free agencies. We have no first rounder possibly next year.

Trade Felton for a backup PF, I like Felton for Drew Gooden. We made a play for him this past summer. Dallas liked Felton and he could be Kidd heir apparent.

Why not trade DJ, I think he is going through a sophomore slump. LB drafted him and he was named the future pg when drafted. So he and Hendo will be the future backcourt after AI and Capt Jax retire.

We keep Flip, he playing better than Ray and DJ anyway. If the AI deal does not work, we start Flip.

Our lineup

Chandler/Mohammed/Diop
Diaw/Gooden/Ajinca
Wallace/Brown/Graham
Jackson/Murray/Henderson
Iverson/Augustin/Law

Playing time at PF
As much as he and the rest of us hate it, until we get someone in here at backup PF, Crash will be needed to play PF. With a lineup of Diaw/Wallace/Jackson/Iverson/Murray on some nights and games. Also Brown and Ajinca should be doing time there, with Chandler at PF and Nazr @ Center too.

Acie and Graham should be kept to round out the roster. Acie should become our future backup PG.

I really don't see why Brown was lobbying around the league to get AI a job if he felt there were any chance in the world they would sign him.

I think its a charade honestly "Here look he'll be great" then after he kills that team for us "Told ya so" :)

this would be really dick and something we absolutely shouldn't do to a guy like felton who has been nothing but a professional and a total team guy, but if we are talking strickly business...

sign AI to start, increase scoring, forget about team dynamics and wins, go for a lotto pick. tell Felton we want to trade him to a contender or up and comer where he will be a starter and wanted back next year as a free agent for picks/talent. if he doesn't go for it, bury him on the bench, drive his value down so he will be looking at even less money next year. use him to get expirings/draft picks. use the draft picks (most likely non-lotto's) to combine and get somebody to take diop's corpse (to borrow from simmons). again, a very dick move to a quality guy.
