We enter tonight's game on an ugly as hell 7 game losing streak.
Hopefully we can stop this madness this afternoon, right the ship blah blah blah blah....
But more importantly, while doing my pregame "research" I've come to discover that they are feeding the women in Indianapolis something extra in their diets that makes their thigh's absolutely phe-nom-i-nal. Case and point :g:
http://www.nba.com/media/pacers/BrittanyD_081105_53.jpg
Whatever this is, they damn sure need to spread it around to the charlotte area. Agreed?
Ummm, Yeah... back to the game. Do we end this streak tonight guys?

their fans are deluded.....
some of them actually think we can score more than 90 points :o

but no seriously id say a win tonight is the only possible result mainly because if we lose i do not want to be around these boards for a while... ive been useless guessing the score this season so i wont bother tonight :p but i dont think we'll blow them out of the water anyway.
damn wish we had darren collison or brandon jennings in our starting 5 however, but heyy we have ray!

I think we have trouble with Hibbert at Center and they are strong at the PF position. They could take advantage of us there. This is winnable, but I am not too confident.

I haven't done any research to see if Danny Granger is injured...however if we're able to completely shut down Granger, it should be a win. Keyword, should.
Being the optimistic idiot I am, I expect a Bobcats win.
Bobs: 92
Pacers: 86
spongebob squarepants game what is that supposed to mean?will they wear spongebob inspired-jerseys lol kidding aside i expect a bobcats win,91-85 stay positive.

Rumor has it a roster move , Flip , JAX, Wallace, Boris , TC.
As big as thease guys are Lexy needs to get some burn in his one .
Does this move take DJ out of the rotation??

Seeing some good energy. Felton with a nice look to Boris in the paint.
Crash still has no confidence in his perimeter shots. Remember when he had that 15' banker going? He should try that again.

Losing the ball out of bounds on his way to dunk it aside, Derrick's looking good.
This just in: DJ's got a left knee contusion.

If DJ's going to be out with an injury like this, then we could trade Law who we're not using anyway, sign AI and play him a lot without hurting DJ's confidence and growth too much. This would otherwise be a concern as we've seen his confidence dip this season already.

Nazr looks 5 years younger then he did last year. Diving for balls, blocking shots, good rebs, hitting the mid range shot, trying to do put back dunks, hitting freethrows for the most part. He looks super solid.

why is everyone so suprised? All you had to do was watch us in the Ham Biscuit days to know Nazr is good.
Plus he was a STARTER on one of the Spurs championship teams (2005 i believe).
However it is not Nazr, but more a player LIKE Nazr that makes the difference. With Tyson, other teams can focus their defense on every player beside the Center. With Nazr, the defenses have to focus on him partly and that opens the court up for everybody else. I hope Larry takes notice of this.

I hope he also sees that he can go deeper in his bench and still get production. UPS and Stevie Graham can both provide solid offense and defense if you need them to, and as of late we could have used them. Still, good to see them playing tonight.

Wife was not feeling well tonight so i went solo and traded my two non club lower level seats for one center court 4th row seat. What a view for finall a great game.
Minutes were distributed well and we can all see Chandler sucks. I think the trade will be good as we will have him off the books soon enough. I still think we should grab AI for 2 seasons and make a run. We really don't need one of felton or DJ. Flip was a solid B/U tonight and the team gelled well
UPS is a solid draft pick

Not lifting my ban on going to Sunday games, I was content to watch a thorough asskicking at home. It sucks I wasn't there for Derrick's career game, but that will be only momentary as consistently bigger games await him in the near future....
I can't say enough good things about how the team looked. It was night and day from the last time they played a home game (and those 4 forgetful games in between). Of course, Indiana's antipathy for defense was very helpful, but great lockdown defense on an offensively talented, fastpaced team was great. I especially loved how Jack more than held his own against Granger. What can you say, aside from poor 3pt and FT shooting, the guy has done everything you can ask of a player since coming here. So far so great....
Naz continues to turn back the clock 10 years and look like a kid. I mean, he looks better than he did a couple years back when he was logging good minutes under the Vincent regime. Very happy to see him succeed; with his dedication and drive, he's more than earned it.
But what about my boy Derrick? A couple of mistakes sure, but damn, picking Granger's pocket in the open court and flushing it down on the breakaway? Hopefully, he's earned a regular spot in the rotation regardless of Chandler's return, but it's safe to say the days of him being on the inactive list are finished. Ya-Hoo!!! The future is here now!
Let's see if this can carry over Wednesday...

Great to see a win.
Good points to note:
-Nazzy!
-UPS+Hendo got burn, UPS played well
-AA actually got on the court:D
-Felton, 6 assists...NO TURNOVERS!
-Augustin, 5 assists (a lot better than previously)

Biris played the pick and roll better than i have ever seen him play it . That was the biggest key no one noticed. He was taking the open 15 footer instead of standing thair. If they switched on him he ziped it to the cutter Wallace , UPS, It looked so simple , Felton to Diaw on the pick . To the cutter or back to Jax at the top of the key . To Nazz on the weak side for the 10 footer . I t was crisp with no clock violations. We all pushed the ball for the first time this year . With out forcing the break, The quicker tempo really helped the offence.
After yesterday im convinced Primoz would work in this offence better than TC or Diop .
Lexy could hit that short jumper all so , Larry give the kid burn behind Nazz at least some one has to guard him.
Notes
Brown wasn't a drop off from Wallace except on the boards . Scoring and defence he held his opun.
Henderson , Needs burn hes got ups and a decent midrange game.
Sad note Hansborough had more cheers than the whole Charlotte team , Hansborough put a lot of buts in the seats all so .
Roy Williams a class act was thair to watch . He seems to have a bond with all his ex players. Roy was the star of the game even the great MJ had to go talk to the coach .
Was Roy a assistant when MJ was in CAROLINA ??
Can,t remember if Roy was in Kannas or in Carolina in 82??
spectre

In 1978, Williams came back to the University of North Carolina and served as an assistant to Coach Dean Smith. Williams would serve as an assistant coach from 1978–1988. During his tenure as assistant coach, North Carolina went 275–61 and won the NCAA national championship in 1982 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1982_NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Basketball_Tournament ), the first for Smith and second for North Carolina. One of Williams more notable events came as assistant coach when he became instrumental in recruiting Michael Jordan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jordan).
Yup. He was there.
Who knew Nazer would be our best center.
Me!!! LOL. I've said it since he got here.
Dare i say Nazzy>EO50?
Yes. They havce almost identical per48 numbers over their careers, and Nazzy has been better this year I'd say.
Sadly, I didn't get to watch this, but this is playing the Right Way.
